Has anyone seen a case like this with cars in the driveway, purses in the house and no signs of struggle? Even with a single victim.
I think I’ve only seen it in a few cases with the husband being the suspect. Chris Watts comes to mind. Otherwise, not at all. Esp 3 victims? No. The only case that even comes close to this one IMO is the Ft Worth Trio but that’s still a different setup. MOO

That would be what I would think of too. I was wondering if maybe the killer started smaller like taking one female and making it unclear if she was abducted or left on her own? I don't know it that is possible to narrow down. Maybe cases with two girls vanishing after a party and still not found. Probably more common than you'd think. People on this site looking at cases maybe will see something similar.

Has human trafficking ever been discussed? It's probably a crazy theory but it seems like it happens more often than we realize. If you were looking for a certain age and type of girl graduation night would have high school grads available and partying. This is just a passing thought I had.

Do you think Chris Watts would have confessed without evidence? I think the police would have still pushed him. I don't know if killing your family is a hard secret to keep.

Does anyone else have a theory that sounds crazy?

No. I think the neighbor blew his entire plan apart with his Security camera. When he brought the video in and showed Chris backing his truck up right in front of LE you could see his skin crawl. Priceless. MOO

I can really see all theories being plausible at this point. Lol. It’s truly a bizarre mystery. I don’t think anyone’s far from the truth anymore. I personally think it stemmed from a sexual desire for one if not both of the girls at or before the parties. I believe that Sherrill was the one that was in the wrong place/wrong time. But again, that’s MOO. We are all entitled to our own theories. EBM

You should always get to know your neighbors lol. Would he have been able to keep that secret from friends and family without the neighbor's security. In 1992 video taping things meant using a camera that was large by today's standards. If Watts could have gotten away with it would he have? You can confront some people not about murder but something dumb and they will lie to you. Some people can be caught cheating, doing drugs, and will lie and insist anyone or thing that disputes there version of the truth is nuts.

I wonder how differently the case would have been treated if Sherrill had gone out that night. The mother, daughter and friend has implied that it was an attack on Suzie and Sherrill. It changes things when you look for people that were targeting Suzie and Stacy.

Me too. Yes, it does. Maybe that’s why this case hasn’t been solved. Tunnel vision. I think Sherrill was home chillin, either getting ready for bed or had already started to lie down when the girls came in. After they got their makeup off and jammies on someone got their attention out front and their lives changed forever when they opened that door. MOO

I wondered if the timeline is off because they were going somewhere else or if Stacy left her stuff there and changed and did her make up at Suzie's. I always thought getting Sherrill out of the house would be easy if she was worried about her daughter. If it was someone pretending to be a cop or a guys following Suzie and Stacy home Sherrill would have gotten out of bed if she heard commotion or if she was waiting for Suzie. Did Suzie call her mom that night?
I think something started at a party that Suzie noticed a creeper or someone put her on edge. I don't think Sherrill was the intended target.

Couldn’t agree with you more. I think Sherrill would’ve kicked azz to keep those girls safe and she seems like the type that wouldve gone to the door first. The fact that Stacy’s clothes were there and her mom noticed she must’ve put on pajamas leads me to believe the party ended at Sherrills. MOO

But.....lol. Continuing...what if all of the women were lured out somewhere else? This might explain the “clean scene”. MOO

I wonder if Stacy was they type to leave the house in one outfit and change into something else. All parents are different about kids clothing and rules. Stacy had a car It's possible she would have had more than pajamas and a bathing suit. I've carried more in a purse. It sounded like she possibly was going to be in Branson. It wouldn't be weird if she had extra clothing not knowing how the weekend would go. I mean if they would stay overnight after going to the waterpark not being kidnapped.

IMO Somebody lured them outside. Who?

What if they were at George's? I think Sherrill would leave to help her daughter. Why would all three go if they were being lured somewhere? What would make them go? I'm asking not being smart. Lured out of the house or lured to another location?

Ahhhhh, yes. Never thought of the extra clothing. Makes sense. Could Suzie have said she didn’t feel well bc she was bothered by someone and Stacy went with to be sure she was good? Could they have come home to change clothes/freshen makeup? Could they have left with a person(s) then Sherrill was lured out by a phone call for help? So many possibilities. MOO
