There was the recent TN arrest and then another in NV in 2000.

So what's left? I've never thought this crime was done by a random stranger. It just seems like there was something going on that night, that caused the girls to change their plans more than once. And if the APCO sighting of Sherrill is true, then there may be some credence to something going south that night, that caused Suzie or someone else to call Sherrill, who intern went out looking for them.
I've also wondered about the eyewitness account of the cars being parked differently early in the morning hours, than they were found to be parked later that day.
Do you think the brother was capable of this crime? I've often wondered about him as well. He has a very sorted past, and definitely would have been pissed off that his mom and sister disowned him, as has been said. He also left Springfield three months into the investigation, never to return. And there is also his recent arrest, as well as his history of alcohol abuse.
I wonder how solid his alibi really was. Not blaming/accusing, just curious.

Slightly off topic, but I’ve always found it bizarre there are so few readily available pictures of the grave-robbers online. Other suspects/“POIs” — in this case, and others, seem to have them in a instant with a casual search.

Obviously this is of no importance, just unusual.

I have no idea. I just don’t think the person that did it has been talked about because the usual suspects have been talked about to nauseam for years and it has gotten no where.

With that logic I would think Joe would be the biggest target since he was the reason they were caught since he talked at a party. Also Dusty and Joe were at the police station far more. Suzie was there one time.

*edit to clarify. Suzie was there once for the statement, but was also there the day before to pick up Dusty. That is when Dusty told Suzie about the vandalism.

May I ask, how it is that you definitively know that Suzanne and/or Mrs. Levitt was at SPD PD only one time? Can you also state with accuracy how many times a PO may have spoken with either at their residence? Who called CrimeStoppers?

If in regards to Mike, Dusty, or Joe it would be in the file. Suzie is only mentioned that she picked up Dusty the first day Dusty was brought in because it says he called her to pick him up. Then mentioned again as to how she was brought in for the statement. Sherrill is not in the file at all. It has every time they went to anyone’s house in the file and it is never mentioned that they went to Sherrill or Suzie’s house.

*edited to add. They do not use names in crime stoppers reports. It is anonymous. The only name mentioned is the officer that took the call.

In Suzie’s statement she said she found out on March 4. That is the same day Dusty made his statement. Suzie and Joe made their statements on March 5.
