these kind of posts are more of the 'bad faith' thing I was talking about......how can you discern between editorializing and Janelle actually saying she was alarmed.......it's not farfetched to believe she was just jealous of Stacy hanging out with someone she doesnt know as well... teenage girl jealousy is not uncommon

not shutting down.....but nowhere does it say Janelle said was 'alarmed'....it was attributed to her by the NL writer..

Well at 8/9 on Janelle was noted as wet by a cop as he found it strange.

So I think they wasted a lot of time in that home unsupervised and then to cover their back they went to the water park super late so they could be seen there IMO

I think Suzie and Sherrill were taken because somebody thought they knew something. It also for whatever reason had to be that night due to the fact that if this wasn’t important then why graduation night and why take Stacey as well?

Afternoon! Moving forward, I've decided to write to both retired officers and those who have been successful in solving cold cases! I've been studying different cases throughout the years and have read numerous stories where normal people were able to solve crimes and made sure to take notes of those who solved them. I'm going to continue my petition to get Springfield LE to investigate those closet to the women close to their disappearance. I plan on remaining anonymous but want to spark media interest in this case again. I want to get those who were in town thinking of anything they might have missed at the time. I also really hope that former schoolmates and attendants of the various parties the night of June 6 will be willing to corporate. I know this case can be solved, but not solely online and not with one single person.

I have found this documentary about the three women.
I leave the link here for anyone who may be interested.

The thing is that I found more details that may provide answers to some questions that were posted here. In this particular show, Janis says that she had made phone calls to people/friends that worked at the Waterpark when she started to become worried about Stacy. These people told her that the girls were not seen at Branson (was Janis talking about Janelle, Suzie and Stacy or just about the two girls that went missing?). This point is important because Janis knew her daughter was missing after calling to the Kirby´s at 10:30 am, but Janelle wasn´t at home at that moment. At this point, Janis didn´t know Kirby and Henson had found Suzie´s house empty. She could have thought the three girls were at the park. If she called and asked about the three friends, and the answer was that nobody saw them, then where
was Janelle?

More importantly, some people have asked how/when Janelle and the rest of the people got to Sherrlyl´s house.
In the documentary, the journalist says "at that same time Janelle and her boyfriend, Mike, decide to go back to Suzie´s house again to see if they are there". Janis continues and says "we entered the house...".
As we can see, Stacy´s mom entered the house for the first and only time together with Mike and Janelle. What a coincidente, right?

Another thing. Asher says police could never trace the calls made to the house. I could have misunderstood something. My listening skills in English are not the best. This is strange to mee coz I had watched/read somewhere that detectives said that the two first calls and the last one were not connected. How could they know that?

Yes, there are some things that are strange. I had always thought that Janis got there at 9pm. I read that Janelle and Mike went to the house in the morning and in the afternoon (not sure if it was 7:00pm). Then, they were seen at the "scene" with all the relatives and friends. I never knew exactly when the two got to the Sherrill´s house that night. What is strange is that Mrs. McCall says "We went inside" (this is exactly what she said). Could it be an issue with the edition?

(# in the previous comment I quoted "We entered the house". But she says "we went inside". At least, that´s what I understood).

The whole thing seems planned to me (as in targeted) as there are no un-identified fingerprints (or so we're told). No forced entry or signs of struggle, the dog left free and unharmed.

I wonder if Suzie and Stacy parked the way they did because a vehicle was already in the driveway behind Sheril's car when they arrived after 2AM and Suzie recognized it. Or did Suzie say, "Follow me home and park behind me on the circular drive"?

Agreed on this !
If Janelle knows anything it’s intentionally kept away from the public since it’ll hurt the investigation......
No doubt in my mind that Suzie and/or Sherrill were primary targets

I don’t think there was a mystery car parked up when the girls got home. Let’s remember the girls got ready for bed and it even looked like they had gotten into bed.
