its the same perps that killed the little girl scout age 9 , back about 85 , with the witness sending the list of culprits to the judge , and her final words , which got the witness from (ELDORADO SPRINGS ) killed and found in the same location as the rose girl . that same list of men appears over and over .
so pick one suspect who proudly implicated himself , say ( ricky dykes ) cause hes dead , now you view the THREE MISSING WOMEN as a lone case , but there was women going missing all over the ozarks , so lets give you a link ,

Yep... that chief cleared suspects that shouldnt have been cleared according to cops working the case....

Apologies for double posting, but I need someone older than myself to explain something silly to me. Was registering a car in the late eighties/ early nineties different back then? Were license plates easier to sneak by the police if they were stolen and belonged to another vehicle or were fake in general?

Well, if I remember correctly (not always a given), thieves back then stole the tags from the plate. That was before they made the tags breakable/non-peel-off.

Evidently it was not sufficient to keep her from driving. On the other hand maybe she didn’t want to stay in Battlefield that night.

It could be as benign as drinking too much and/or the stress of the graduating ceremony preparation, etc (more on a girl than a guy - not to sound sexist).

But it could also be a reaction to an incident that happened at one of the parties the girls attended. The only one left to shed light on this would be Janelle, or possibly Nigel....

But it could also be a reaction to an incident that happened at one of the parties the girls attended. The only one left to shed light on this would be Janelle, or possibly Nigel....

Nigel wouldn’t know anything as she didn’t graduate that night. She simply popped over to give her a cake. I think they originally had plans as well and Suzie let her down at the last minute. She was obviously a great friend who named her children after Suzie and still holds fond memories of her. She didn’t go on tv days after the fact to try and distance herself from Suzie either.

When I went to the police headquarters he and Asher came down together as I handed them the mugshot of someone who strongly resembled the so-called transient. And then a few weeks later Asher threatened my job claiming I was “interfering” with the investigation when I attempted to pass along information learned just that morning.

I’ve long got over that but the people I have talked to were not exactly effusive with praise for him.

In what world does a policeman threaten somebody’s job?

I don’t care who you are that’s simply not how a officer of the law behaves. They have a code of ethics and this isn’t it.

Detective Asher is an arrogant fool. I'd tell him that to his face. He has that mindset I was talking about. The "If I'm not right nobody is." @arc anjil I was asking that because I've been doing research on Larry Hall, and I came across something that I find interesting. "Larry DeWayne Hall had a checklist of sorts: get van ready, put curtains in windows, check colleges, buy more condoms, buy more tarps, buy two more belts and change license plates. He also reminded himself not to leave “forensic residues” and to have “no exposed carpet.” I then came across something else that piqued my curiosity even further. "In March, Hall's van allegedly was seen cruising slowly past teenage girls in Gas City, Ind. When police stopped the van for operating without proper registration, they allegedly found a green ski mask, a 12-inch knife, two coils of rope, cotton balls and white gloves. They also discovered "several news articles about missing people, including (Tricia) Reitler," a 19-year-old student who disappeared a year earlier from Indiana Wesleyan University." This tells me Hall didn't care about keeping his registration up to date. It also tells me his van had curtains. Then I also saw this. (Take it with a grain of salt. It's supposed to be a witness testimony.) "While driving on Missouri interstate 70 about 2 hours from Springfield Missouri, a man driving a lowered white t-bird with a sunroof overtook a moss green van with Pennsylvania plates driving along in the right lane. it was in the pre-dawn darkness. as he closed on the van he noticed some energetic activity inside the van, like some kind of fight, was going on. as he drove along beside and slightly behind the van he watched a man violently and repeatedly striking a woman until she fell out of sight and then began beating another woman. neither woman was able to resist these blows to their faces and heads, as though their hands were tied. suddenly the man noticed the white t-bird, tapped the driver of the van on the shoulder and pointed to the car. he glared at the driver of the white t-bird, who was looking right back at him through his open sunroof. he then reached up and snatched some curtains closed. at that point, the driver of the white t-bird became alarmed and afraid of the people in the van, and stepped on the gas and left them behind, and kept going. not until later did he make the possible connection to the 3mw." Tracy Marie Kroh Disspeared from PA in 1989. I've been trying to see if I can find a link to Hall and PA, but so far it's no cigars. He could have stolen a license plate if he ever went to PA. The first thing I noticed about Tracy is her smile. A big, full smile. It reminded me of Suzie. Had Hall been Stalking Suzie he would have known no man lived at the resident. Hall could have also been following them that night and knew he could physically take on three women. He might have even seen this as even more of a "Have to act now" situation for the sick thrill of it and had someone help him. There's also something about Hall that creeps me out. A detective working with Hall said this."I think he’s holding back on certain things,” Krueger said. “At this point, he just doesn’t want to. (I’ve been told) these are his personal pieces of property and he doesn’t want to give them up. These victims are his.” Just something I found interesting, I don't take any of this as gospel truth, just speculation, and possibly something else that could be looked into.

I don’t want to dwell on that and as I have said I have put it behind me.

However to answer your question we had tickets to some auto races in Nashville, Tennessee the next day. Because time was short I went to the MSHP headquarters in Kearney Street that evening. I talked to Jack Merritt who went on to become the sheriff of Greene County. I would have gone to Internal Affairs but I simply didn’t have time to go in as we had a long trip to drive. When we were coming back I stopped off at the DEA office in Memphis and also reported this.

Not to put too fine a point on this, I regarded this as a threat against my life. I had made a living in the public arena and talked to a number of “rough customers.” This incident shook me to my core.

About 2005, Kathee Baird phoned me at home when we lived in Texas. She had questions that she wanted to ask me. She recounted her contact with Robert Cox, in Livingston, Texas. I asked her if she asked him if he remembered me and he said he hadn’t.
