Thank you for posting. This case was heartbreaking and sickening. For $300 bucks!
Fortunately, prosecution had the cooperation of witnesses - unlike this case.

BK
Yep--would be nice if the witnesses in this case grew some cojones and worked with a prosecutor to finally end this............theres evidence out there i'm sure of it,, but they're cowards.. their boss keeps them at bay...pathetic

I didn’t say force. But raising a campaign while staying Anonymous is what I plan on doing. I’ve been talking to my friends about it, and I’m trying to get someone with influence to help spread the word and raise awareness about this crime. If we can get enough online attention and somehow get this case trending, the right person could see it and that’s all it takes. We can’t go back in time, but thanks to the internet we can keep their memories alive and keep people talking about it. If enough people want something to happen it can sometimes happen. But It’s going to take a lot of work. An example being the website you’re using now to talk to people from all around the world about something that happened 28 years ago. Humans succeed when they want something and work together. And Humans also mess up. This crime isn’t unsolvable, it just takes the right person talking and I want to start getting people talking. I enjoy stepping on toes and I want the people who did this squirm knowing that people are talking and determined to find out what went on that night.

@Seeker994 I like your attitude! Also who cares if a bunch of cops laugh like one poster pointed out. Let them laugh all they want. :p

Obviously Garrison knows something about how this happened based on the friends of his who blabbed at parties..........cops bailed him out of jail and judges issued warrants and the gag orders reinforce that his info isnt just prisoner-speak......it's very real.... resources would be better put into nailing down the ones he suspected involved........ and getting all the friends and girlfriends/wives of those suspect(s) to stop being cowards and help these women............GET SOME COJONES

@Seeker994 I think JK and MH are great people to look at.

We already know what happened when others tried to inject themselves and their pet theories into the case.

If you want results, the local government needs to step up and open a cold case squad for this and other old cases. Totally fresh eyes, re-examine everything.

LE has spelled it out in their public statements. That's the reason they blow off tipsters - needing contact with a witness that can tie the ends up. There's a very brutal and threatening undercurrent in these bucolic hills. LE has offered protection - it would be essential. Couple witness protection with a very dramatic life changing reward - may be the ticket.

You cant force anyone to do anything..... I don’t get what you plan to accomplish other than a couple of cops laughing at your request and promptly hanging up....

Maybe trying to get closure for the families and peeps brought to justice? Might be worth trying dont you think Ark?

Justice is all this case is about to me. I don’t have a pet theory, and I don’t want to publicly put myself into it because I don’t need too. I don’t want people knowing who I am. I want to know who took the three missing women. Maybe I never will, but heck, after 28 years if someone still isn’t trying this case won’t be solved. If the people who did this isn’t in jail, that means they’ve learned to live with themselves, and what kind of justice is that? If someone known to the women is involved, How Fair is it for them to have families and a life, and just move on? It isn’t. And I don’t know why but I can’t stop trying to find out more about this case. One of the only things I agree with you on Ark is that this case can’t be solved online alone. It’s going to take fresh eyes and tons of determination and investigation. Due to my job I can’t go to Springfield until June, and honestly, I’m not sure why I’m even going. I just feel like I have to. I’m passionate about this case and want to do everything within my physical power to see it solved. Right now I don’t know who to contact, but I’d like to talk with KB to see what she knows. I’m also just going to start annoying people on Twitter and other social media to put their names out there everyday.

You should definitely contact local radio stations , newspapers and on so. But last year was the major anniversary and that didn’t bring in anything new. You need power in high places to get this properly looked at again.

You might be able to gain traction with Nancy Grace who has some considerable notoriety. She got interested in criminal matters when her own fiancé was murdered while in college. I haven’t seen her new program but it is a story she might be interested in. Can’t hurt. Obviously some people have some ‘splaining to do. So often some aspects are covered in a surface way but not really run to ground.

She was also a prosecutor in Atlanta, Georgia. So she obviously has the bonafides to get to the bottom of cases, although she is controversial.

Many of us have very serious questions about the actions of some people who are connected to this crime. As an aside, her character “Missy Pyle” was prominent in the movie “Gone Girl.” I believe she was very flattered by the movie. She is very unique as anyone who has seen her programs. For some reason that movie has always intrigued me and ironically was set in Southwest Missouri.

Mule, you’re a genius! I feel like old Nancy would eat something like this up. And she, like me enjoys stepping on toes to get answers. I’ll need to write something very professional if I’m going to email someone at her agency!

I hope you can get some traction here :)

I would offer to help but I’m a little to far away to be must help unfortunately :)

I’m not even concerned about being anonymous as I have nothing to hide and with the way some posters seem to know who people are on here it wouldn’t even be a surprise if people know who some of us are.

True. I just don’t want anyone coming after me. I would love to see Nancy Grace interview JK and rip her apart about her actions that day. Also would love to know what she would think about the police contacting psychics and not looking further into it being graduation night. I don’t believe this area of the case was investigated at all because it never even occurred to them that Jk and her family weren’t being truthful.

I would also like to know why they stuck a van up on the lawn when they didn’t have more concrete information and that more than likely hindered the case.

Offhand I would say to pacify the public who were flipping out. It must have been up there 4-5 Months and nothing came of it.

It seems like you would either have people looking for the van, when it may or may not have been involved at all. You would also have people trying to figure out where they saw it when it was every time they passed by the police station. I could see how it would be comforting to believe that a stranger in a van kidnapped the women and not a member or members of the community.

What “ evidence “ would there be after 28 years of remains to prosecute anyone ?
Honestly not much in the Wild after a few months .. A person with a conscious could make an anonymous tip even , And at least let the families have them back .

A Lot of cold case remains past few years found by morel mushroom hunters , in Missouri alone Ashley Onescu , Jessica Runions , Kara Kopetsky and others.

Publicly they could just announce that if witness were fearful .
