This is the kind of case where the officers will require counseling. JMO.

Looking for indications of bodies any and all evidence on property. Victims are working very openly with LE. If anybody has missing person's during or around this time to please come forward in case they have no record....

  • #103
Am I understanding there is a missing person aspect to this case?

  • #104
Evidentiary internet items being processed.

  • #105
Indications that individuals were killed. They have to go back and compare missing persons.

  • #106
Any indication what those internet items are, Suzi?

  • #107
Asking about missing persons again but wont go into alot of detail...Waiting for some evidence to be looked at already found on the properties. There is indication that an individual or individuals have been killed on the properties...Whew...I think it is over

Presser over.

Probable cause statements being given out.

No. I think he said once they've been processed LE might be able to give more information out about that.

Those bonds seem awfully low for charges such as these.

no kidding - and especially since LE's "raids" were coordinated so that none of 'em would be tipped off & run.

It's scary to think of them getting out of jail.

Will LE be there to protect the vics 24x7??

Scariest statement: "This board may grow." (Sheriff referring to possibility of more arrests, charges, crimes, victims.)

It's validating to hear a LE official say "Pedophiles never stop with just one victim". Can judges and juries please listen?

This is a heartbreaking case. I just got a call from two of my children who are now young adults--both were raped. One, who has attempted suicide 13 times, started crying about the jars. He said that he wished he would have thought of doing that. He was the oldest of our eight. I assured him that he didn't need to leave notes in jars. He told. HE TOLD!!! And the disclosures began. Bless these kids. They are a strong bunch.

I'll be watching this case closely, folks, but I have some serious mothering to do right now. I'm very afraid we're in for a rocky ride.

Newish (1:18 p.m.) K.C. Star article on case:

http://www.kansascity.com/703/story/1563043.html

Lead: "Authorities are searching a rural property just south of Bates City, Mo., for glass jars holding memories of anguish and horror, the notes allegedly written years ago by sexually abused children."

This case is horrific! Maybe the victims remember them killing people so the police are looking for bodies? What a disgusting family, it looks like they were raised up perverts.
Give them all a bullet in between the eyes and save taxpayers money for feeding them in prison for life!

Graphic Report Alleges Bestiality In Child Sex Investigation
http://www.fox4kc.com/wdaf-story-child-rape-investigation-111009,0,5984653.story

The probable cause from the Lafayette County Prosecutors states that a female relative of the five men was forced to have sex with a dog.

...

A 26-year-old relative of the men told police that she was abused at least eight times and was forced to watch abuse a ninth time on her brother. The probable cause also stated that the female relative was forced to have an abortion at age 11 and was also forced to "marry" her relative, David Mohler.

The woman told detectives that the father and son, plus the other three brothers were all part of an incident where they used a family pet, a German shepherd, to sexually abuse her.

The woman told police that she supressed many memories of abuse against her, and her siblings: a boy and five girls.

...

Police were searching for bodies on a stretch of farm property in Lafayette County, Mo. outside of Bates City with cadaver dogs on Tuesday.

It can't get any worse; I feel just sick! Being as the one was forced to have an abortion, I almost wonder if babies were born and that is why the cadaver dogs have been brought in. Don't know if my stomach will let me follow this one.
