Here are my thoughts/observations/speculations -

the guy committed suicide and for whatever reason did not want to be identified hence the wallet with cash/no ID.

he chose a parking garage as it had public access and a height that could be jumped from. since it was a federal holiday, most office buildings were closed, you'd be surprised how many do not have open access for the pubic and most don't have a place to jump from (windows sealed, no roof access).

as for the fingerprints, someone can correct me if I am wrong but I do not think all fingerprints automaticaly wind up in a national database. if someone is arrested and fingerprinted in a small town, they might run the prints to make sure he is not wanted elsewhere, but I don't think his are automatically entered. also, if people are fingerprinted for job clearance, I don't think they enter the databases of criminals. they are only cross-referenced to make sure the job applicant is not a criminal.

so the absence of a match on his fingerprints(in my opinion) do not mean he's never been arrested or has never had a job requiring fingerprinting and it certainly does not mean he is an illegal.

I can't imagine someone going through the trouble of removing all his ID from his wallet and then returning his wallet to his pocket. Why not just take the whole wallet? Easier and faster.

My husband uses those exact headphones with his phone to both talk on the phone and listen to music. There definitely should have been a phone to go with them. Or SOMETHING. There'd be no reason to walk around with those with nothing to "connect" to.

any new updates on this case?

I can't get this case off my mind. There are so many "clues" as to who this man is (wardrobe, public autopsy photos w/ recognizable face, distinct headphones), yet he's still unidentified. I need to dig into this one more. I think about him a lot.

Came to the same conclusions, Tony has no DNA and Dentals entered though..

Been looking into this a bit. One thing that's catching me up is the teeth comparison. In the NAMUS photo, Tony has a distinct smile with lots of spaces + characteristics. Although you can't see a ton of our Doe friend's teeth (I call him A), they seem to be more aligned than Tony's. Open to other opinions on this though. Really want to get this man his name.

Former LE here, and totally NOT a conspiracy theorist. Having said that, I think this death could possibly be related to the Doe's employment. Pretty sure he was LE. Look at what he was wearing. The pen. The tie. Then take a look at the governmental and psuedo-governmental agencies in downtown STL.

My best guess:
National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency

Other possibilities:
Home | United States Secret Service
https://www.fbi.gov/contact-us/field-offices/stlouis

Once one hits a certain security clearance, fingerprints are wiped from any national databases. Just saying.`

I am not LE but I agree. Plus, the headphones found on the Doe not connected to any device, along with the lack of identification indicate that he intentionally left these things behind or they were removed from his person.

The Doe’s shoes are humble and range anywhere from 40-100 dollars, today in 2021. I question whether the shoes were worn or looked brand new. I’ve known of many young men who have interviews or land a new job and purchase dress shoes. As one develops professionally and routinely uses dress shoes, usually better quality shoes become of interest.

Same goes for the suits. But more so with shoes as they get the brunt of the wear. Just an observation. Gosh this case is just so unusual.

Yes. And the ear buds with no device attached rule out suicide, IMO. I can see not wanting to be ID'd, but why the ear buds?

LE doesn't pay enough to buy fancy shoes, especially if you're young and getting established.

That is good point. It makes me curious as to his clothes. Nowadays suits and even slacks and button downs are so so rare (except of course for LE/other professional sectors).

Personally, I can tell the difference between someone who routinely wears suits versus someone who went out and purchased pieces of a suit and dress shoes for an occasion (while being frugal) or not spending too much since they won’t be wearing it often.

It makes me wonder if he was indirectly involved with Govt agencies as a consultant/contractor.

Very interesting case. I’m glad to see it getting some renewed attention here. For me, the most likely scenario seems to be suicide. Perhaps he was newly out of the foster care system and trying to make it on his own. Was going around town looking for jobs, or had an interview. It didn’t go well and he just said screw it. Tossed phone and ID in dumpster and jumped.
