To clarify...he looks like Mr. Parker from Georgia, but he has been ruled out??? The 4 men you have listed at the top are being considered as possible IDs for this man? Why will they not release a photo or recon?

Has Morgan Montgomery Johnson of Plainfield, Indiana (Namus case 11257) been submitted. He disappeared in 2011. He was distraught after the death of his grandmother and took seizure medication. I see no tattoos mentioned in Namus and dental information isn't given.

Just a thought.

Raine, I haven't seen any ongoing coverage of our UID on stltoday.com. Do you think there's any chance the ME or LE could put out a renewed call for tips?

(ETA: And I understand not releasing morgue photos to the public, but maybe to NAMUS? At least to LE? If nothing else, pictures of his shoes and other articles of clothing could trigger something if released in MSM...)

I will the ME and ask her if they can rerun the story again. I will ask her about the shoe color and style also. Will post when I receive the info

Thanks so much for your efforts, Raine! (And also to the good people at the StL ME's office, which is probably overwhelmed and understaffed.)

Update, not much news.. To answer some questions, the shoes are black, no cameras at the garage that the ME has been told about. No one has reported anyone with description missing. His finger prints are not on file, but he could have been here illegally. We discussed today about any hotels reporting visitors not seen or paying none, no rental cars missing or reported missing. We always discussed the possibility of him being from a homeless shelter, which is possible..she told me those types of clothing are donated and can be found in many consignment stores there.

Their office is overwhelmed right now. With each person that is ruled out a report has to be written on that person as to why there is no match.
We are still waiting on the other names I have submitted for rule outs. Will update more next week when I talk with the ME again.

I am having a hard time believing that this man was homeless. A lot of the homeless in St. Louis are not his age. He could have been from some type of shelter, but that's pretty unlikely. I have volunteered at some of the shelters, and a majority of the men are middle aged or older, or mothers with children. I'm not saying that it's not possible, but I think the chances are slim. We don't have a huge homeless population here. He may have been in some type of special program for foster kids without families, but even those places would notice if he didn't come back. I'm going to do some research on places like that and will see what I come up with. I guess what I'm trying to say is that I don't believe this kid was the stereotypical homeless guy.

I just want to know where in the city of St.Louis you live in. I live in Soulard/Benton park and work for the saint louis police department. We don't have a significant homeless population, are you serious. I know for fact for being a city resident and not a suburbanite that calls themselves city residents that this city has a significant homeless population. I've befriended some of them and everyday Larry Rice sents quit a few to get background checks to stay at his shelter. I do background checks for Saint Louis police department and they make up a significant number or people needing background checks. Also can remember seeing huge amounts of homeless where the Peabody theatre now sits and outside the farmers market before they were removed as to not annoy the suburbanites that this city caters to. There are several organizations that cater to the homeless in my area including Larry Rice and Saint Patricks center and they send those seeking shelter to get background checks from the saint louis police department. It is my understanding that the several homeless people have been pushed along the river as to make the city more attractive to suburbanites. I knew many of the homeless and was saddened to see them pushed out to accomodate the surburbanites that frequent the city.

I agree that there are homeless people, I've volunteered with Larry Rice, Otis Woodard and the Sunshine Mission. My point is not that we don't have homeless people...we don't have a lot of YOUNG homeless like they do in bigger cities. I agree that there are homeless of all ages, but the majority of the young ones wouldn't be walking around in a suit and tie. Sorry I wasn't more clear about that in my original post.

Could you provide some insight into why you believe he may indeed be homeless? That may be more helpful and would keep us on track with IDing him.

Since I am on vacation I have not been able to look up this report number based on location so at this point know nothing on the case. I was just stating my opinion based on my experience. We do get young homeless people refered by both Larry Rice and Patrick Center. I agree most are middle age but I have done background checks that was of a person in there early to mid twenties so I wouldn't exlude it based on experience. I've befriended a few that were clearly on the young side (you have to remember that being homeless ages you considerably so for them to look young means something). If not homeless my second guess would be a young person from outside Saint Louis. I remember a case recently of a temporary unidentified person who was from California. He was a victiim of homicide and had no strong connections to area. He was shot to death. Sorry don't remember name. I find it strange that outside one article the saint louis post dispatch has not written an article on it. I'm on vacation will look into it once I am back to work. Not sure how much I'll be able to share but have to say it is rare for this city to have an unidentified body. Only two I can think of is headless girl on Clemons and the torso found in the Mississippe River.

I was thinking about going to the parking garage to check it out. I am baffled by how this man died. It seems like they believe he feel and hit his head, but did he jump off something? Was he beaten up somewhere else and then dumped there?

I feel like the ME is holding back info, which is totally acceptable. But why ask for our help and then give us very little to go on? No pic, no composite, no pics of clothes, no ideas on how he fell or if he committed suicide. A pic would end this puzzle pretty quickly. I'm sure they have their reasons, but I don't know why in this case.

They do not know if he was pushed, jumped or fell.. His age range is 16-40, but the ME is thinking younger than 40. I know he needs a name, there are no prints on file. I know they are looking at all different avenues such as illegal, homeless or no one has suspected he is missing and has not reported. I sent in several names for rules out, but they are overwhelmed and each case takes time, thatbis why I am helping with alot of the leg work.

I understand. So, how did you get involved in this particular case? Are you from this area? I have been meaning to ask, but I keep forgetting.
