The prosecutor's office is "looking into the matter," said Ed Magee, the office's spokesman, when asked about the tweet.

"I'm not sure I'd call it an investigation," Mr. Magee said of the prosecutor's office efforts at this time, adding that any allegations of jury tampering would be "unfounded" right now. Mr. Magee said earlier in the week that the jurors have been vetted and that the prosecutor's office trusts their integrity to abide by set rules, including secrecy.

"We've never had a case when we've presented this much evidence," he said.

Wash U legal expert:if grand juror leaked info & was removed, the same panel could go on with 11 members-only 9 votes needed to decide case.

Well-known St Louis Atty Chet Pleban says Michael Brown grand jury could go forward with 11 members as long as process isn’t tainted.

McCulloch tells our partner The Post-Dispatch “I’d be shocked if a member of the grand jury said anything.”- says office is investigating.

Screen grabs preserved the tweet. A spokesperson for Prosecuting Atty Bob McCulloch says they are looking into the situation.#stl

Officer 'Hug-a-🤬🤬🤬🤬' Johnson told them he'd like to talk to them -- in the middle of the street at midnight!" she said.

"Maybe he could find a better place and time? Just a thought"

"As far as IDs for the police -- God help them if they have IDs," she exclaimed. "A badge, sure: Take their name so you can threaten them like you did Darren Wilson and his family? I don't want to see one police officer with a name badge on when he's on the streets in that crazy place."

"The amount of voter apathy has been extremely disappointing," Ferguson committeewoman Patricia Bynes tells Daily RFT. "But now people are understanding that they need to vote."

Bynes, who has been involved directly with voter registration drives, says much of the voter registration push has focused on areas that have historically low representation, as well as where people tend to congregate, such as concerts and areas around the Canfield Apartments where Brown was killed.

Heal STL, the organization started by St. Louis Alderman Antonio French -- a constant presence at protests and a sharp critic of the policing situation in Ferguson -- has made voter registration one of its main goals

“If this allegation is true and there is a member of the grand jury who is discussing the case with a Darren Wilson supporters the appropriate thing for the prosecutor to do is impanel a new grand jury,” Crump said in an interview Wednesday night. “If this person is discussing the case outside of the grand jury it is wholly inappropriate. It’s an issue of fairness for Michael Brown’s family.”

Chief Belmar won’t release details about the operational plans, but says he’s planning on a very emotional response regardless of what the grand jury decides. He is going into it with basically the same mindset he says he had on August 10th which is preservation of life. Belmar says while preservation of life is number one, after that he won’t stand by and allow looting or burglaries.

From video:
"There were times in those nights, where I think that I was just expecting something tragic to happen to one of my officers."

"There's A lot of this rhetoric I don't think really assists the people that really matter on the West Florrissant corridor."

Body cameras for all of his officers will cost about $500K over the next 3 years

The woman, who CNN is not identifying, said in an interview with reporters on the doorstep of her home that she hadn’t used her Twitter account in months and thought she had deleted it.

“I didn’t care for it because I just don’t get the whole Twitter thing,” she said, adding that someone had hacked her account and posted spam in the past.

She further said that she knew no one on the grand jury hearing Wilson’s case and told CNN she had left a voicemail for St. Louis County Prosecuting Attorney Robert McCulloch about the tweet. She hasn’t heard back from his office, she said.

“It had to have been hacked,” she said of her account. “I promise you I did not do any of this.”

The investigation into the shooting is complete.

The developments came on the same day the prosecutor's office said the investigation into the controversial shooting death in the St. Louis suburb has been completed.
"The investigation has been basically completed that is being conducted by both the FBI and St. Louis County PD," Ed Magee, the spokesman for the prosecutor's office, told CNN.

A grand jury is expected to decide by mid-November whether Wilson will be charged criminally for the shooting, which sparked weeks of unrest on the streets of Ferguson and calls for a federal civil rights investigation.

ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI)- The thousands of people heading to Busch Stadium for tonight`s game could be met with demonstrators protesting the Michael Brown case.

If this letter is any indication of what could be coming, then there may be challenges. It was written by local attorney and activist Eric Vickers and sent to Major League Commissioner, Bud Selig in September.

Activists crowded into a Missouri church Sunday to demand the arrest of the white police officer who fatally shot an unarmed black 18-year-old in August, sparking weeks of protest and a national debate on policing and race. "We're calling for the immediate arrest of Officer Darren Wilson," said Rev. Carlton Lee, the pastor of the Flood Christian Church in Country Club Hills, Missouri, a community adjacent to the city of Ferguson, where Michael Brown was shot dead on Aug. 9.

FERGUSON, Mo. — Protesters in this small Midwest city measure time by counting the number of days Ferguson police officer Darren Wilson has remained free since killing Michael Brown.

Here, after 58 days, almost everyone is waiting for a grand jury to decide whether Wilson, who shot the unarmed black 18-year-old on Aug. 9, will face charges. Businesses have put off repairing looter damage and instead have covered shattered glass with wooden boards.
