Saw on one of the Facebook pages for TA someone posted about a body in Ray County on 210? Did anyone else see this?

Never mind, unconfirmed reports it's a male. Sorry.

I agree that there have been some comments made about Toni's mom that have come across as insensitive. I was disappointed that some were even dissecting in a negative way about how Mom expressed no parent should have to go through what they are going through. I know everyone here wants to help and be supportive but felt the need to share my perspective on some of the comments. Thanks for listening.

Good question. The map shows the west side is train tracks and the river. But it appears a car may be able squeeze through and make it to 23rd. There is no street name along that side.

https://www.google.com/maps/@39.1464361,-94.5821051,388m/data=!3m1!1e3

So on the map, if she made a wrong turn, Left onto 23rd, she would have had to cut through the businesses which is more of a parking lot than a road to end up on 26th. It doesn't seem likely if she took a wrong turn to cut through a road that doesn't look like a road... instead of just pulling a Uturn. Unlikely but not out of the question.

We need the beginning of that video, before the traffic stop to see which way she was coming from.

Can you imagine if she was coming from the north?:scared:

The fact that she worked at Chrome and the Outhouse in ANY capacity is relevant. Not a person on here has ever said that information was not relevant. In my response to you, I was stating that unless you know for a fact how Mrs. Anderson feels embarrassed by her daughters choice of work, you shouldn't speculate. These are victims families that could potentially be on here, hoping that Toni's case is still relevant to some people, and is still being thought upon. I know that sometimes when we are not agreed with on here it's easy to be on the defense. I know how some people view her lifestyle, and I'm sure everyone else on here does too- You may, or may not be right, but that doesn't matter. We are all here to keep mulling cases like this over and bring new ideas to light that we may not have thought about before. The families are considered victims as well, and we should be respectful. You have brought a lot of questions and theory's to the table here - all great thoughts. Please know this message comes with good intentions. Thx

As for my thinking Mrs Anderson is embarrassed, my opinion was partially formed from Toni's own words.
I read the rules of this forum and will respect those rules. Hopefully I can just read and not reply.
Toni has family members that have asked Toni's case not be discussed and to quit speculating.
Pete Sanchez Sr. also asked the people in Facebook groups to quit speculating about this case. I quit posting and speculating in those groups out of respect for the families. It's time for me to quit speculating, not forget Toni and pray that she is found and comes home safe and sound.

Let's say she was actually going into the QT, let's speculate to meet someone. If she sees police right there at the QT she makes a quick decision to make a left onto 26th, to avoid police and to slowly check out what's going on across the street there if its safe to go but it proves obvious to police she was trying to avoid them and she gets pulled over. I just don't see the ATM being her goal.

I think they meant stupid inappropriate hurtful speculation. Speculating is good!

TBS, it's one of the most significant aspects of this case. Had she really been been pulled over, her car would've been facing west. Two cars, ultimately, got behind her after Toni had already made a u-turn herself. The cops were suspicious of why she was standing idle on a dead-end street and that is quite different from what we've been told. She could have but failed to turn right/south to use the atm at the dealership.

Assuming she was driving north, Toni would've passed three atm's and a chance to fill up her tank. Snapp commented about the officer wanting to make sure her story was straight. This refers to them watching her go to the QT and this happened because a black focus with tinted windows stood idle waiting for GOD KNOWS WHAT?

I have to admit, I thought you were nuts because I couldn't figure out what the heck you were talking about. :) I was thinking, "who cares when the officer turned on their lights?"

The big problem is that the video player covers the picture when you pause it. So I extracted the video URL. I finally see what you're talking about.

At the beginning of the video, Toni is already stopped on W 26 facing east. The police car is across Burlington on E 26 facing west. Okay, I get it. Sorry, your comments about when the lights went on totally threw me and I couldn't see Toni's car without pausing it.

Anyway, I have said all along that the lane change thing was probably just an excuse to check her out. That's why she got a warning.

We have no idea how long she's been there before the video starts rolling. I suspect she just got there.

I don't understand how anyone can question the tracking device story. That came from the police. And there's no way it just happened to stop working at that QuikTrip.

On previous cases that have made the news, the time given for a ping has not always ended up being exact. Sometimes it's an estimate or there's a delay. I think some may just be leaving room for the idea that the tracking device went off due to an accident later on...

I said this a few pages back. Why on earth would she tell police about The Shady Lady??? Just say you're headed home!
I really wish we knew if the wording of all this strange stuff was from shoddy reporting or actual quotes from police!
The picture it's painting is of police coverup.

In my opinion, if she really did tell the police she was going to Shady Lady, then she may have just been telling the truth.

Maybe that was her ultimate destination anyways.

We're still missing info though. I think maybe she was lingering around the QT waiting for the cop to leave. Maybe so she could go to meet the guy at the auto body shop. If she thought the police might follow her, tho, she may have driven off for a while with the intent to come back...or she may have changed her plans altogether and arranged to meet in a different location. Perhaps they know what this text says and it does mention the new meetup spot.

I know this topic is being beat to death... but I looked up some info last night and might as well post it.

According to google maps:
- QuikTrip to Shady Lady: 11 minutes
- QuikTrip to Bank of the West to Shady Lady: 9 + 14 = 23 minutes

So it doesn't add that much time. The extra gas would be under a dollar.

Chances are good she could technically have been able to use one of the 4 ATMs near or in the QuikTrip with her Bank of the West card. Her bank charges $0 or $1 and most bank-affiliated "ATM operators" charge $2.50 to $3.00, so the total fee wouldn't be much. It seems debatable whether or not she would travel to the Bank of the West just to avoid known charges, however, she may have had no idea what ATM she could use or how much it would cost.

Another question that came to mind:

Do banks set different (lower) limits on the max amount you can withdraw on another bank's ATM by any chance? Like would she have needed to go to her own bank to get the amount she needed.

Earlier, a girl mentioned that strippers sometimes buy a room at a hotel to service out of town guests. To me, this IS a viable theory if anyone in Tony's circles is known to engage in this practice. If people from Toni's places of work engage in this practice, I hope someone tells the police so they can further explore this avenue.

Usually the card has a limit. Mine is $400 per 24 hours. Not sure about her bank's policy.

Observations from the surveillance video:
http://cf.c.ooyala.com/p0MnMyOTE6JV...Rg4gtDEwOmk2OjBrO6qGv_?_=4zhbpzx7cb7iy8uuwhfr

- At the beginning of the video, Toni is already stopped on W 26, facing east. It looks like she is waiting for the light.
- The officer is on the far side of the intersection, on E 26 facing Toni across the intersection.

- They cut to the stop and police vehicle is behind Toni, having crossed the intersection and having pulled a u-turn in behind Toni.

- At the end of the stop, there is clearly a second vehicle behind the police car. It backs up. The police car backs up.

- Toni turns on her right blinker and turns to the right. I cannot see for sure if she is turning right, or changing lanes.

- However, the police car that pulled her over backs up and clearly changes lanes to the right.

It's just baffling to me what all the backing up and swerving is about. Is everybody on the wrong side of the road?

It looks like they are pulled over in the entrance driveway to JD Byrider. Look at the street view.

According to Pete Sanchez, father of her boyfriend, she wasn't headed to The Shady Lady but was meeting someone for drugs? Thoughts on this?

I once said :
I think it's kind of obvious. She wasn't in parkville to go to a bank as her primary agenda, if she was there. There's some illegal activity at play.

and was then asked :

What leads you to believe it is obvious? I haven't seen anything in this case that makes me believe she would go to Parkville to conduct illegal activity.

So, I think this is confirmation of the obvious (to me).

I think many of us have said from the beginning that all this sketchiness and being vague was to hide illegal activity. So this is no surprise whatsoever.

Trail is a whole lot colder now than it was 40+ days ago.

Holding back the truth ain't gonna apply any heat to the trail. There are likely lots of people around Toni who should probably be asking themselves if speaking some truth 40+ days ago would have been the "right thing" to do.

Is it possible that she was actually meeting David Jolly to sell him some drugs (pot, coke, meth, etc), and that she was headed to Parkville to pick them up? This would explain why she was headed in the opposite direction & why David was waiting for her at the other QuikTrip & fell asleep in his car, because she never showed up. Maybe she knew someone who had some & was doing him a favor.

It's very possible that whomever she was meeting to pick up the drugs, had already planned to rip her off, steal her car, & possibly Toni, as well. It's the only explanation as to why she would have been headed away from her final destination. I don't know why I didn't think of it before. Maybe it was some guys she'd met at the club & she never called them, because the meeting place & time were already set... Or maybe they did communicate by phone & the police are looking into them. If so, Parkville is a pretty desolate place to be meeting at 5pm. Didn't you say on the other site that the police had said that they have suspects? 5?

What do you think, Pete?
P. S. I left the other site, too. It's Elizabeth.
