Max, do you have specific training or experience in any of the above that you speak about?
While you make great points, I am having a hard time determining what you speak of as fact and what you speak of as your opinion??
I don't have crime specific training in terms of law enforcement etc. I am unsure of what specifically you are wondering about as fact/opinion.
In regards to this case, I have no direct facts.

With every case I follow, I do a fair amount of research to learn about things involved in a given case.
I am simply giving opinions based on what I see. I do have experience in the sense that I have lived in high crime areas, and I do take note of law enforcement practices in having followed many cases. But am I some kind of professional? naw
I have made mention of things that I do have knowledge on a given subject such a friends who are bellmen and talk about how escort services and drugs relate to their jobs. It's not my direct experience obviously, but do I trust what they say? sure. I've asked them before why they don't call the police if they know it's prostitution. What do you think they said? I get tips... see. That's what they cared about. People coming and going paid them. The one guy even admitted that he'd give out escort service numbers to hotel visitors. Escort services are legal services, so there's nothing wrong with that. But neither the visitors or him were unclear on what they were talking about.
As far as drugs. I've seen a fair amount of this going on in places I lived. I've never lived in KC, but as with most things crime related, I doubt it's much different wherever you go.
Even in this case I had a very vague idea as to what a confidential informant was, so I just researched it, and I'm quite amazed at how fast and loose LE *factually* plays with the lives of their informants. I don't have experience in the field, but I can certainly look at an article about informants and see articles about real people who were informants and *factually* got killed. So in that sense, yes I am speaking of fact.
But for things like as to why I believe we have a bunch of people lying. I think that's just from experience of living in high crime areas. I lived around people that would give those vague answers all the time to avoid getting involved in something that could fall back on them in some way. I've seen "thick as thieves" in action. People who have another's secrets trust each other to keep those secrets. I don't need an opinion on that, I've seen it factually happen. Someone is not going to finger their drug dealer.
But if you want to be more specific about what you want to know is fact/opinion I can help you out on creating a clear line
But again in terms of this case here's what I'd consider fact :
Toni left work
Toni Got pulled over
GPS was disconnected - supposedly at the QT
Toni was never seen by anyone again.
There is surveillance video and dashcam video that the police didn't release, even after a request by a reporter.
Now in terms of toni. I think the facts are she worked at a chrome, smoked pot, took acid, and adderall. She was open about this kind of thing on social media, and I don't see any reason to doubt it. She moved from KS to KCMO after avoiding some kind of drug charges. (via her tumblr)
There are more things about the case and toni that people will point to as fact. But I will even admit that some of the things I listed about the case itself are not confirmed facts imo. We are trusting to some degree that she wasn't pulled over a second time etc
I should add that I don't rule out things like an accident or stalker etc. I think there's lots of plausible scenarios. But for me... I think we are being lied to, and that points to illegal activity. my opinion -- we are being lied to
