So what do you guys think are going to be the five defense theories? Here is what I have:

1. Date from that night
2. Violent previous BF
3. Suicide
4. Ran off
5. TE

Don't forget the Sex Trafficking, TM tried to spin that at first too.

Maybe the defense will present no theories and go with the State didn't show that the defendants are quilty beyond a reasonable doubt. If they can convice the jury that there's reasonable doubt with the States evidence they can win. JMO.

Yes, i'm friends with HE's family.

I think you misunderstood me. I don't believe she committed suicide. My post was arguing how i think that would have been just about impossible. I think even stupider would be for the defense to try to claim TE had anything to do with it either. This has been a broken man. IMO.

I have the utmost respect for Heather's family, not only is their daughter missing the most likely culprits have mocked their pain and taunted them. It's evil.

The case broke wide open Friday, when police served a search warrant at the home Sidney and Tammy share on Highway 814 near Myrtle Beach. For 11 hours, police and several other agencies searched the home, cars and property. Horry County Police Chief Saundra Rhodes said the evidence gathered Friday is what led to the charges, but she declined to go into any detail about the evidence

I couldn't agree with you more. I'm saddened by all of this...and even more sad that the case doesn't seem as clear cut as it once did. I can only hope that somehow they have more than they let on as far as evidence before we get to trial.

Rso, most all these scenarios looked at thoroughly by many of us and what are convinced of?

So going back to square one over a year later, what do you guys make of SM calling Heather at 1:30 from a payphone? Do you think he was calling to lure her? Or trying to meet with her / talk to her? Maybe warn her? Do you think TM was either tracking his phone, or following him? How does the meeting at PTL all come together? Why did Heather drive to PTL? Did she drive the car herself to PTL? Maybe she was never at PTL, and the car was just dumped there? I've been here since day 1 for Heather but it's been so long all the details are starting to get jumbled in my head. In retrospect, how can we reconstruct the timeline?

Me personally I think he really cared for her . Probably was in love with her.

I think he wanted to see her but His wife followed him.

Thank you for clearing that up.

The date was cleared and there is no motive for suicide that they could prove. I think they will go with either the violent ex(didn't hear much else about him) or,and most likely,IMO, ran off. TM has already used the "ran off" theory.
I think they would love to blame TE but that would be really stupid of them.

She did not run off!
suicide???not likely but a possibility!

Had anything else happened at PTL in the past?

I think SM loved her and I do think he wanted to be with Heather. Why would he be hiding behind a dumpster and sneak to call from a pay phone if he was trying to lure her to meet him?

I've always felt that him calling her from the payphone at 1:30 was probably because TM had taken his cell phone away, or that he knew she was keeping tabs on it via online or whatever. If that theory is correct, it goes along with BW(roommate) stating that SM had told HE that he was leaving the wife and wanted to be with HE.

What i can't wrap my head around is how it came to be that 2 hours later HE is headed to PTL. I know they said that she called the payphone back a couple times with noone answering...and then proceeded to call his Cell. I've always kind of figured that when she tried to call him back on his cell that perhaps somehow then TM saw and came up with the plan to either accompany SM to meet heather now that she was aware of it. Or else she followed somehow and SM was as surprised as HE was.

The problem with the "surprise" theory above would be....wouldn't the LE also then have video of another vehicle owned by the Moorer's heading to and from PTL? Unless she went a different way. But again, if she showed up and surprised a re-united HE and SM...whatever was done would have taken even LONGER than the brief few minutes that they had at PTL. Thinking out loud kind of makes me lean towards them BOTH being involved rather than her doing the deed and him having knowledge of it after the fact as some have guessed.

What a damn mess!! Where the hell is Heather???

He was hiding from his wife?

I haven't decided if SM lured her or got caught trying to meet with her. I don't believe that he loved Heather, though. The pics of him smiling, after Heather was gone, show me nothing but a slime ball who used a 20 year old and then went to Disney with a grin on his face after Heather was murdered.

He was hiding from his wife?

I'm sure of that, but if he were luring Heather to PTL and he and TM had a plan he wouldn't need to hide from his wife.

I agree with you here but I think TM did the deed and SM had to help her cover it up.

I think this proves she was following him!

And it wasn't a plan. He was sneaking from behind the dumpster to call Heather, he probably hid his truck and he didn't think about the camera's. TM may have been following Heather too.
