I think this proves she was following him!

Or that TM discovered him going back to cheating via Heather calling his cell back when he didn't answer the Payphone....then she forced him to take her with him to meet her or something? If she were following....wouldn't they have both cars on the video going back and forth towards and back from PTL?

First time posting on this thread, have been reading these 36 pages for what seems like hours! THANKS to OKGrannie for suggesting we read back on thread #9 for things that were said by LE. What stuck with me is that one of them (LE) said they "had a lot of evidence before the search of the house, and after that search, they had MOUNDS AND MOUNDS of evidence." That is not verbatim, but that gives me hope. They are not telling anything they don't have to and they will surely keep track of these 2 if they are both wearing GPS ankle monitors. I feel that TS will do something, write/say something, go move something but I do think they are in it together. I'm hoping, too, that they monitored all their phone calls, letters while they were in jail for a year. I don't think this couple is very bright, he is totally afraid of his wife. My hubby is originally from Horry Country!

I think TM had the truck and drove to meet HE.

Maybe SM made him go meet her and she was hiding down in the front/back seat?
ps..Hi, Eileen!

I'm not sure whether I've posted on Heather's threads before this, but have been following since almost the beginning. In reference to SM's phone call to HE at 1:30 am, and whether or not TM was with him at the time or followed him...what about SM's statement that they were having sex in their car? Is this just another lie to provide an alibi? We know now that LE charged them with indecent exposure based solely on SM's statement, so there's a good chance he made it up as part of their cover. People have referenced TM sexting that night. Is there evidence of this, or was that speculation based on the IE charges?

Hey Happyshoes!!!!

That's possible but I don't think so.
I don't think SM would have done that.
JMO but I think he cared more for HE than his wife!

If TM thought her hubby was leaving her for HE well........
Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned. Now if she was drinking that adds to the anger!

Appears tm and sm separate at pay phone call. He seemed to be hiding. Maybe tm driving hunting and got to heather. Tm may have had some help. The car may have been dumped at ptl.

Maybe SM calls to warn HE that his wife is looking for her!
IMO TM found her!

Until the evidence comes out during a trial I'd say it's all speculation and maybe will continue to be speculated about even afterwards.

Unfortunately the minute-by-minute details of a murder and the intent and thoughts of each action by each of the players involved can't be known. Fortunately that level of detail is not needed to be able to prove guilt BARD, but unknowns can drive Interweb posters crazy as cases don't often get answered to that level.

The state will have to prove both were involved to obtain a conviction or at least both were in on the plan and whoever actually did the deed itself does not have to be proved in order to find felony murder. Under the law both can be guilty even if only 1 of them participated in the actual killing.

Wonder if we will ever know when the handcuffing to the bed started--text messages could show that. I hope they have reams of incriminating text messages between TM and SM showing that there was trouble in paradise.

I'm sure of that, but if he were luring Heather to PTL and he and TM had a plan he wouldn't need to hide from his wife.

I want to see that video to see if really looks like he is hiding from TM or if he is in plain sight of her. If so, that is VERY damning evidence.

I don't understand why he would need to come from behind a dumpster to make a call if TM was with him. I don't think she was, I think he was still trying to keep it on the down low.

I'm also having a hard time with the timeline as far as what the state contends happened. With all of the texts/phone calls...it's obvious that the Moorers initiated some contact for some reason. Then Heather goes to PTL. Here's where I have a problem. The state has what they believe is the Moorers truck heading to PTL, then returning a couple minutes later. Somewhere during that time HE's cell stops pinging. That would seem pretty telling. Except HOW in the world do you abduct or even kill someone within that short 4 minute period or whatever...and dispose of a body/cell/keys without their being a crime scene with evidence left behind. Or if they had abducted her....there is NO WAY ON EARTH that there wouldn't be at least SOME DNA of her's in that truck if they had killed her on the way back down leaving PTL. It just doesn't seem like enough time. Now...if the time line had included an hour or something i'd say thats enough time for someone that might be adept to take care of it and clean up evidence from the scene.

I DO believe they were somehow involved...but I don't see any way possible to a conviction within that timeline without SOME kind of DNA or crime scene. Anyone else have a problem with that short window?

Finally, anyone that studies suicides will tell you that almost ALL suicides aren't able to do it where they can't be found. They just don't care once they are gone. Heather's phone wasn't at PTL long enough for her to break it or throw it in the water and then go hide somewhere far enough or well enough that she'd still not be found today. I don't think even the defense would waste their time with that theory.

(Would the time line fit for this?):
What IF - SM met Heather (she picked him up oh say.....at a Kangaroo gas station on 10th) - and she was killed BEFORE anyone got to PTL.....that SM drove Heathers car to PTL and had TM pick him up there -- and the only thing they needed to get rid of at that point was the phone??

Not if it was a fake call to lure Heather to PTL. I think it is very incriminating if TM could see him at the pay phone

The video surveillance of the vehicle was sent to the FBI in Quantico, Va., and to the S.C. Highway Patrol’s Multi-Disciplinary Accident Investigation Team with a request to identify the vehicle, Elder said. The agencies sent reports that the truck was a dark 2013 or 2014 Ford F-150, with silver toolbox in the bed, a moon roof, silver rims and high-end bulbs in the headlights.

MAIT Team investigators learned there were 82 such trucks registered to owners living in Horry County, so they went and visually inspected 81 trucks, Elder said. The last of those trucks was owned by the Moorers, so police got a search warrant and executed it on Feb. 21.

Unfortunately - that could be as simple as the writer (who does not make that statement a quote - hence no "" marks) typing agencies instead of agency - or maybe the writer meant 'LE agencies' as a whole.... I can't take that report as proof she 'lied'. I read an article just this morning that had so many typos in it I was SMH. Also - after the bond hearing lots of reporters were saying they were being let go on a PR bond - when it was really a surety bond....

IIRC, Hoppy was at that hearing and told us about the sexting. Is that right Hoppy?

Black truck on PTL video does not work with that scenario, but they could have brought Heather's car at a different time.
