[modsnip] But let's just say I was a Dad and found my daughters car parked at a dead end and I had to drive it home, my legs are longer than my own daughters, so i'd have to push her seat back in order to even sit in it because she has the seat so far forward. This wouldn't seem out of the ordinary to me since she keeps her seat way forward. Unless someone taller had the sense to move it back forward upon arrival at the PTL, it wouldn't occur to me that someone other than my daughter had driven it, ya know? This leads me to believe that only HE drove the car that night, or at least drove it to PTL.

Attention please

Guys, this thread is for the bond hearing only, not general discussion.

We have an entire forum for Heather so please use those threads for various topics.

Leave the FB discussion at the door and please continue to link up when stating fact.

Thank you

Thanks for the link. I listened twice and when she reminded everyone that Heather was still missing and asked for the public's help that she said something to the effect of "that they might know where she died". Did I hear that right? It's around the 2:40 mark.
I was really surprised to hear that because I thought they were possibly holding out hope that she was somewhere, still alive. I just can't imagine their pain.

Also, then they would need to do something to get rid of a crime scene either in Heather's car or somewhere else between 10th ave and PTL? Also, didn't they have the "ping" info on Heather's phone showing exactly where she(or her phone) was the entire time?

If I understand things correctly - the last person Heather spoke to - or at least verifies she spoke to heather - was her roommate. After that - the calls were between SM's phone and Heathers - and I don't think anyone has admitted (TM or SM) to talking to Heather outside of the payphone call (which he even denied that for a good bit) --- so the only thing 'verified' was where Heathers phone was.

I think SM loved her and I do think he wanted to be with Heather. Why would he be hiding behind a dumpster and sneak to call from a pay phone if he was trying to lure her to meet him?

I think it was all a plan .. I think TM was in the car and they called from payphone thinking it wouldn't be traced to them. I think they lured her .. SM called and claimed he wanted to be with her. I don't think they anticipated her calling the cell phones , calling her roommate, or being caught on camera at payphone. (That's why he was sneaking from dumpsters IMO.) I think TM was in truck too and Heather was ambushed \ restrained in some way once she got in truck. I believe she was murdered somewhere on that "compound" and disposed of not far away. JMO.

One other thing. Since i'm not a "verified insider"...I can't say what I was told. But let's just say I was a Dad and found my daughters car parked at a dead end and I had to drive it home, my legs are longer than my own daughters, so i'd have to push her seat back in order to even sit in it because she has the seat so far forward. This wouldn't seem out of the ordinary to me since she keeps her seat way forward. This leads me to believe that only HE drove the car that night, or at least drove it to PTL.

Sorry to quote but this reminds me... the very fact that TE was allowed to drive her car away was my first inkling that LE may not be quite on the ball in handling a missing person case. I hope I am wrong.

I feel so sad.
Where are you Heather? :(

I'm leaning more towards an old "disposable" boat being used.We have to remember, no one realized she was missing for a while, the Ms had a lot of time (2 months) to get stories straight, get rid of anything that could have been used.

Awhile = approximately 14 hours to 24 hours, give or take.

Supposedly SM claimed to police that he told Heather to "stop calling him." Now that wouldn't make any sense unless he picked up one of her calls. She called her roommate first before attempting to call SM back after their first 4+ min conversation with SM calling from the payphone. So by SM's own admission, he was the last person to speak to Heather.

The sequence went something like this:

- call from SM at payphone to HE & they talk for 4+ min. Allegedly this is the first contact between the 2 in weeks.
- HE calls her roommate who is in FL and they talk for 2+ min. HE tells roommate SM said he's leaving or left his wife.
- An hour or so goes by, maybe 90 min.
- HE calls SM at payphone number, no answer.
- HE calls SM at his cell phone (once or maybe more), he eventually answers and they talk.
- HE leaves apt and drives to PTL.
- HE calls SM's cell phone 3x upon arriving at PTL, no answer.

A quick question about SM ducking around the dumpsters - where was his ride (if anybody knows)? I tend to think he was doing what TM told him to (probably every day of his life). And I'm guessing HE went to meet this guy at 1:30am willingly - but why?? I mean, do yall think she truly cared for him and thought he was going to leave TM for her? Or was that a story he told her just to get her to meet him that night?

She didn't go to meet SM at 1:30am. 1:30am is the first contact between the 2 of them, with him calling her cell phone from that payphone.

The timeline is that it was around 3:30am that HE left her apt to go meet someone at PTL. Phone call logs establish it was SM she was calling over and over as she approached PTL.

I believe he set her up. Whether he wanted to or not...he did and is as involved as his wife.

I was posting while Madeleine was so that timeline helps me (btw, LOVE you avatar!).
Are we supposed to go to the other site? I'd better check.

Thanks Happyshoes! That's the 'real' Madeleine, who happens to be my cat.

BBM-Where did you get that information?

BBM-Where did you get that information?

State's Attorney said it in the bond hearing Friday. I don't have the time on the video or a link, but she made a point to say he came from behind the dumpster to use the payphone.

Does anyone know if SM got out of jail yet? Who posted his bond? Was the paperwork cleared up? I wonder about the "paperwork" kerfuffle. TM was freed in a matter of a few hours but SM still sits in jail.
