I'm following four languages on the chat, but no solid information....mostly questions, or repeats of 40 cm left (not confirmed)
And I certainly don't read Arabic.

It's nearly 7am in Aus and I'm not sure how much longer I can stay awake for. So if I disappear, I'm sleeping.

Thank you for all the updates, Webbie!! Hoping Rayan is out before my bed time (nearly 8pm here in UK)

They pray at many different times of the day. The times change daily and are dictated by the sun. Many have their cell phones set to show when. They try to pray together and it has been shown that their hearts synchronize as they pray together. Covid has been certainly difficult for their community. Some of these prayers that you hear are at these determined times usually in the mosque, and I am sure they are for Rayan and his family, the rescuers and all who suffer.
I thought it was set times ? 5 times a day ? But I stand corrected. Every day is a school day.
The reason I thought that was because I’ve been to Morocco and Turkey and other places where they are called to prayer and the call was broadcast every day at the same time each time I was there , hence why I thought that . Also my long time friend from when We were 7 ( now 51) married a Tunisian and she spends half the year in U.K. and half the year in Tunisia and when he’s visiting the U.K. in between times , he prays x5 daily at the same time. Unless it’s also because he’s in the U.K. and he can’t reasonably do it when he is with all the children and in different locations visiting different relatives that are English each day ? I don’t know. I should ask . But that is interesting so thank you

Just seeing all the rescuers line up and the parents going to the tunnel (2M live feed)

Hoping this is it…

Host Amir is saying Rayan is about out, or out!

Ok, I think Amir might have received erroneous info, not sure. Now it's 20 cm.
Father, such a strong stoic man, and mother being interviewed.

My God, such support and well wishes from so many countries.

Excellent coverage imo. Host Amir speaks in German and English, translating from Arabic. Split screen of the hole area and ambulance waiting with the security guards.

My God, such support and well wishes from so many countries.

It’s really gone global and we can thank social media for that. Using #SaveRayan (in English, not Arabic or even French) led to media interest, so the story has gained a huge amount of traction.

Ambulance backing towards tunnel.

Is he out ? The ambulance is reversing away from the tunnel

From Host Amir " The ambulance has moved to the exit. Its lights are blinking.

You can do this, Rayan.

Please save our little brother. Inshallah!"

He must be out
All the rescuers are coming out and everyone is shouting and cheering and whistling them all

On the way to hospital.

  • #218
He is out I think according to the feed that @margarita25 posted
The cordon is removed and the line up leaving

  • #219
Wow I’m crying here
Restored my faith in humanity x

Amir could see the child being carried to the ambulance, but I could not see him. Ambulance left, Rayan was in it right??
