My english mastiffs do the same crazy things. They can open the doors by turning the doorknob though, so this particular problem I think I will be spared.

It's like a doggie door... they can be put in walls, or windows or doors. (small opening with movable flap that a kitty can just push open as they go through it)

I would love a big dog like him but I'm 5 foot 2 and I can just imagine trying to walk him. I'll bet all the neighbourhood cats lined up to laugh at him. I'll bet rescuing poor old Moses made those firemens' day!

I have 3 Dogue de Bordeaux's who are normally very calm, sweet and respectful, but I have came home from work several times to find my house and yard identical to Tom's in Turner & Hooch. :behindbar But then they turn back into their calm lazy slobbery selves and I realize why I love the gentle giants!
