That would also make it difficult, if she was moving so frequently.
Moving quickly and often can not only be associated with poverty and legitimate reasons to make such moves, but is also a favorite trick of abusive parents.

School records and guidance counselor reports do follow. But problems parents can contest those "biased" and "inaccurate" reports pretty fast.

Knowing that some bad anybody's exist- including counselors and not wanting to argue, some principals will take a "starting fresh" approach. They then rely on their own staff to make any assessment that he or she takes action on.

This buys the problem parent yet another grace period. When starting fresh fails, they are off to another jurisdiction with another hard luck story and another new start.

LE knows something we don't, hence their strong charges. The judge would have seen the AA when he set bond at $2m.

There may be an obvious cause of death (gun shot for instance) and a direct line to mom.

This could be a SusanSmith situation, could be death do to a pattern of abuse/neglect, could be accidental from drugs, and any number of things I haven't thought of.

What is rare in these kinds of cases is that these girls appeared to have been well cared for. No squalor, no starvation (at least in their recent photographs).

And unless they were buried at different times, for them to have died at the same time, that lends itself more IMO to a sudden event, whether direct (strangulation, gunshot) or indirect (drugs).

It'll be heart-breaking whatever it was.

I'm not sure how to request it, but should the word "Arrest" be added to the thread title?

I think we might be able to put to rest the fact Aliyah kept 2 dead children in the house to the point there they started smelling. Sleuthing her leads me to the fact she lives in a multi-person house. I had to dink around with Google maps in order for it to show me the NEW home that was built at her address (701). Here is a SS of it in the process of being made. She lived in apt #2. I've seen it said that this address has both 4 and 6 bedrooms, and 4 bathrooms. I think that's because the info is for both the old house at that site, and the one built after tearing the older one down. You can see the school and field on the left.

What I don't know is is #2 upstairs or downstairs? IF this is a only a 2 unit house, then #2 would be upstairs IMO, and would have a view of where she buried her children.

Either way, I doubt she'd have rotting bodies in the same house that others lived in. Thus far we haven't heard of her neighbors complaining of any odor. But how could they have become "badly decomposed outside in the winter? Unless those suitcases kept in a lot of the odor. They looked like hard plastic, or whatever non-cloth suitcases are made of. Likely with a seal. So I suppose it's possible she store them in her apt for a while before disposing of them.

Careful when playing around with the map cuz you'll quickly go back in time to 2014 in the blink of an eye.

Here's some info on the new property. Note that the pic on the page is of the old bulldozed house. Not the one built in 2022. I'm trying to figure out if it has 2 or 3 two bedroom units.

Located in Cleveland, OH, this residential property at 701 E 162nd St is a newly built home from 2022. The property offers a spacious living environment with 12 rooms, including 6 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms, spread across 2,600 square feet. The two-story home features a detached garage, providing convenient parking and storage options. With a porch as one of its perks, the property also sits on a 0.13-acre lot, offering a manageable outdoor space.

ETA - Got my answer! I hadn't noticed this on the page till after I hit Post.

So, if she's in unit #2 then she lived upstairs.

Looks like the apartment was subsidized. It was built in Phase 1 of the EDEN project.

The project includes construction of a two unit townhouse development on a vacant lot owned by EDEN located at 701 E. 162nd Street and a five unit townhouse development located at 7915/7919 Madison Avenue.

I'm not sure how to read this part (column 1) since the PDF mentions 2 properties in Phase 1. Were Aliyah lived is 2 units, and the other one mentioned is 5 units, so a total of 7 units, which is why I can't make sense of Units #'ed 1, 2, & 4 in column 1. Either way you can see what rent and utilities cost, and how much of a subsidy is given.

Looks like she got a clear view from upstairs to the field as all the trees that used to be on the corner are pretty much gone.

That would also make it difficult, if she was moving so frequently.
Social services agencies used to be kept well-updated about new addresses whenever custodial parents (CP) moved. That was back when public benefits were typically paid to the CP by check mailed to their address of record. However, since many states decided to switch to a debit card method of disbursing benefits, CPs have little incentive to update their addresses since they can access their benefits from any locale.

Maybe, but then "public schooling" has struck many, many times as well. So... I don't know.

What I do know is that there are various forms of criminals in both the public school and home schooling arenas. I strongly, suspect, however, that home schooling is no more inherently dangerous to a child than public schooling.

In public school there is a chance abusers can get caught. In homeschooling the chance is virtually zero. That is the difference. And abusers intentionally use homeschooling as a loophole, which is also a major difference.

But it doesn't need to be like this. Us homeschooling families should be fighting for more regulation so that abusers have no where to run when they are caught in public schools. Because they give us such a bad name right now and real children are suffering more than they have to, or even dying.

I wonder if this could be a case of 'death by natural cause', and the mother not wanting and/or able to afford a proper burial, as the girls were so close by.
Not for one moment do I believe that, unless the mother was mentally incompetent. Even then, how do you have two children die of natural causes?

Maybe, but if it was death by natural causes for two of her daughters, she would have lots of public support, and would have the funerals paid for, with little problem.

I think you have to have mental problems if your babies die of natural causes and your response is to put them in suitcases and bury them across the road. :(

Here is a link to their entire vigil. It had some rather interesting parts. One was a young child activist in the making having her say with a speech she wrote (41:33). Talking about living with violence, she's almost died facing challenges, "people just kill to kill", she's not allowed to "walk her dog, go to a sleepover, nor walk by herself". She can't "play with her friends without being scared and having to watch her back all the time".

@44:30 is when someone who says they are family took (talked) over the woman I believe hosted the event. They basically told everyone to leave as they haven't had time to mourn at that location by themselves. He repeated that they needed time, and Respect was said multiple times.

However, cameramen weren't packing up and leaving. In fact, you can watch one guy carry and set up his camera, along with a reporter about to do his reporting against the backdrop they had been asked to leave. NO respect there.

Then you hear what sounds like a gunshot, although I suppose it could have been a car backfiring. Either way the reporter says to the cameraman "Let's go", but they didn't actually leave. Shoulda respected family wishes IMO, they were asked nicely to leave.

This guy called it out at the vigil @ ~33:30 (that her windows overlooked the field). Sorry that the link doesn't allow me to post a link cued up like some do.

New pics, new interviews (Mila's father and neighbor), and a short video clip of a smiling Mila talking.

Reporters dug into Aliyah's past to see if she had any crimes in her closet. They only found an eviction notice for non-payment of rent for 3 months back in November of 2021. In that document it states that she lived with 2 girls. So where was the 3rd girl? 11/21 is ~ 4.5 years ago. Mila would have been 3.5 yrs old.

They also reached out to the school district to see if she, or the children, ever attended Cleveland schools. Looks like we're still waiting for that answer.

I assume that the two girls were Amor and Mila, and that the third (living) child was born after that? Unless I'm misunderstanding something

That's my thinking as well.
