I haven't followed this case. I saw one clip of the mother crying and formed an opinion. It would behoove me to start reading and watching clips to catch up.
I always wondered about the dad and the lights and evidence. All the lights were on but I turned them off.Nowadays it would be very easy for a man to set up his wife. Notice how everyone just automatically believes his story, he came home and the lights were on all over the house. For all we know he could have come home and abducted the child earlier and then destroyed the phones after he returned.
Perhaps he wanted to leave her. And he didn't want to be encumbered by child support payments and another child. So he does this.
To me if they are not finding any scent or traces of death inside the house, then it means it was planned. Because if it was an accidental death I doubt the person would have the wherewithall to throw together a plan that quickly.
:rocker: I agree ...
IMO ... she was "smirking" in that interview on GMA and she came across as " :silenced: " ...
MOO ...
So this Ashley is a paralegal? This makes MUCH more sense than her being an attorney. refresh my memory - did someone try and pass her off as a JD - or was this just a 'lost in translation' type of error??
This is jmo, absolutely moo, and founded on nothing other than immediate emotional reaction. And if it proves to be a bs opinion, I will happily change it!
Have you ever been around a person who's an expert in something, and thinks that it qualifies her as an expert in everything that's even vaguely tangentially related to that something? And makes sure everyone knows how expert she is and how they should absolutely consult her on these matters? And convinces you that your understanding of these things is so woefully inadequate that if you don't entrust yourself to her expertise, you'll be sunk? And the whole world is conspiring against you, but she will be your champion?
And really the situation she's "helping" with isn't about her, but suddenly it's all about her? And meanwhile, you're sinking fast?
...that's how Ashley appears to me.
I am open to this opinion being changed. I know it is not unbiased.
I would bet she is their media adviser also.I completely agree. I posted earlier that once I learned that she's a law student, her attitude made a little more sense to me. She's a kid who's studying law, therefore she thinks she knows everything about this very serious subject of a missing child and everything that goes along with it. :twocents:
I haven't been able to keep up with every post the last couple days....so forgive me if this was already asked.
Has anyone confirmed the last time Lisa was seen outside of the immediate family?

What struck me as strange from the interview with the parents was DB saying that she rarely left the windows open at night. But THIS night, the first night hubby is away from the home, she's on the computer, opens the window in that room, then goes to bed with the window open? And hubby says he comes home, finds all the lights on, goes into the bedroom wakes his wife and asks, "How come all the lights are on? And how come our son is sleeping in bed with you?". Hubby obviously took note of the fact that things weren't right in the home before he ever noticed the baby missing. It almost sounds to me as if he was thinking "mom" got wasted while he was at work.I know...jumping to conclusions...but it really does play that way in my mind.

Reminds me of Kyron's case of step mother and dad. Dad distanced himself and we found out why!Moo...It's actually the odd demeanor of the dad that I can't understand the most, and I kind of share your concern about the possibilities. His manner of not comforting Debbie doesn't make sense, and the way he hangs his head and we don't hear him pleading for his daughter's return. Every dad I know would be acting different unless something else was going on. In one news clip, he starts to touch her, then visibly and on purpose draws his hand away and down to his side. His behavior screams at me that he doesn't want to be close to Debbie, for whatever reason.
His odd behavior makes me think that he believes Debbie is involved and is trying to distance himself from the whole thing, but could he be making himself small because he knows all eyes are on her and he wants it that way...don't know.
Actually, once again not true.. He came into the house went to the boys rooms to check on them, saw they were ok, then woke up his wife (or whatever) and said, why are the lights on, with that she said she didnt know and they BOTH went to look in on Lisa.. Once again, according to the mom, the younger boy was in bed with her along with the kitten. So one of them is lying. He has the boys in their room while mom has the one in her room. Who is telling the truth.. I dont trust either one of them.
