UGH.. this is not sounding good at all. :banghead:

I was looking through Brittany's photos, and see some that she posted where her daughter got into some flour and made a mess. Someone commented, and Brittany said that she went out to smoke, and when she came back in, the baby had gotten into the flour.

Since she smokes outside, maybe the baby was asleep and she stepped outside to smoke and met with ill fate?

If this is the correct RV park, there is a small lake nearby, and Paul B. Johnson State Park with a large lake right across the highway.

I live about an hour from McLaurin. I also have a mutual friend with Brittany on FB. I showed her pic to my 17 yr old and 22 yr old, but neither knew her. This is so distressing. I notice a lot of people posting on FB that she would never ever leave her daughter. She appears to be a devoted mom. I hope she is found safe and fast.

There were quite a few people who didnt think she was such a good mum if you look into some comments on her facebook page.....some girl said she wasnt as she was driving around in a car with someone who was drunk and the baby was in the car.....she says that she is going to get this girl......a family member comes in and says that people keep saying that she isnt a good mum, but that she is not helping the situation by posting things on facebook....

I get the feeling that while she loved her daughter she is like alot of the young mums we have seen on here, a bit irresponsible and still want a party life.

Another post she is asking would anyone like to babysit her daughter as she needs a break.

The fathers name is JM and there is a post that JM is coming back and we will see how things work out.....now this is late 2011, so I think the new bf has not been on the scene very long at all.

It actually says he was coming for some child support case but it doesnt look like the new bf was on the scene.....in oct I think it is, her mother posted that she was happy brittany finally had found someone that loved her.
Also up until June (at least) Brittany and her stepmum were very nice to each other on facebook, so dont know what has gone on there, but there definitely had been a fall out very recently. I wonder if it had anything to do with her moving to louisiana with the baby??? there also seems to be quite a few surnames amongst relations, so think the family dynamics is a bit confusing.

Yeah... I saw it was about child support, but they looked pretty chummy, huh? I mean, it didn't appear that there were claws and blood during that visit. lol

I noticed two other strange FB comments. One was on a picture of Brittany's maybe the 18th or 19th that was directed angrily at JM from one of Brittany's friends. Mobile uploads, I believe. Another was on the picture of Brittany on the "Seeking the Lost" FB page. A EJ (who happens to have several FB friends in common with me, but I do not know him) said something odd about a shovel, burying a pet, and a man named Henry, but Brittany's sister denies any truth to this.

If I don't know one thing about this small little place is that there will be very few MSM links to go on. The quickest "news" seems to travel by word of mouth, unfortunately.

With the Hattiesburg American now on lock-down (paid news), it will be hard to get news about this. I have a feeling it's going evolve as an investigation very, very quickly, though--and that will get coverage through a lot of southern media outlets. Probably WDAM is going to be the best site to watch.

The 19-year-old mother of a young daughter is approximately 5'2" and weighs 117 pounds. Crenshaw brown hair and several distinctive tattoos - one of a large cross on her back, a smaller cross on her left shoulder blade, a dolphin on her right hip and a child's hand print above her ankle.

Could be...need to compare this picture to her bf's FB page.

Thanks

Don't know...he doesn't look like the picture on bf's page. BF is also from Bastrop. He did that map thing on his Facebook that updated his current city to Bastrop on Monday @ 8:56am. Sounds like he's back in Bastrop. I guess it's possible they were traveling in MS....maybe b/c the bf works in pipelines or something. They do a bunch of pipeline work in that area of MS. Just me guessing, though.

According to the video at KNOE, it appears to be her current boyfriend in that photo.

Also, KNOE video: She has a leg brace and CRUTCHES.

So, she needs crutches to get around, and her boyfriend just suspected that she was off doing laundry of something? How does she manage a basket/hamper of clothes with crutches?

If you listen to him in that video, well... I'll leave it at that.

I believe that is her ex boyfriend? The current boyfriend has not been around long.

" filled the baby's cup up, gave her a hug and kiss again. I told her I loved her, she told me she'd see me when I got home," said Davis of that morning.

But several people here say Crenshaw was last seen asking the owner of the store nearby to unlock the laundromat, which is located on the side of the building. The owner told her it was unlocked and she left. Crenshaw and the family laundry basket have been missing since.

"I come in around 8:00, 8:30 and I took a shower and got in the bed and I was going to wait up for her," said a tearful Davis Tuesday. "I don't know for sure what time I went to sleep, I had the TV on and I was going to wait up for her and I just fell asleep."

Davis reported Crenshaw missing to authorities early Friday

Interestingly, there is a second woman missing from the Hattiesburg area last seen on Thursday, the 16th. Older woman. Probably not connected, but very, very unusual for this small town I call home.

Why would someone take the laundry basket, too? If I'm accosted, the first thing I do is drop the laundry basket. And an abductor isn't likely to pick up clothes and take a laundry basket unless the basket of clothes would connect him or her to the crime. If the basket is in my living room, I'm going to dispose of it. If the basket is dropped in a laundry building, I'm going to leave it. At most, I'd sit it on a table to make it look less suspicious.

Updated article. Says she was last seen asking the owner to unlock the laundry facilities, which were unlocked already. Brittany and the basket of laundry are missing. She had no cell phone. The rumor was correct that it was Cullen RV park. I am on phone and and can't do a map right now, but the address is 4 Duane Dr. 39401 if someone else wants to look.

No comments on the leg brace, but I did read on Brittany's FB that she had some sort of.surgery within the last year?

I don't get that, either. Unless some sort of evidence was left on the basket, (blood of perp) and it was taken to hide that.
