David Neal Cox, executed in Mississippi on November 17 for the murder of his estranged wife Kim (whose daughter he sexually assaulted in front of her as she lay dying, with his own daughter also present), apparently left written instructions to his attorney concerning the disappearance of his sister-in-law, Felicia (spelled Felecia in some media) Warren Cox in 2007. Apparently he confessed to her murder and provided details of where her body is hidden, but she has not yet been recovered. He had long been a suspect in her disappearance and had been urged to confess leading up to his execution.

Thank u for posting this thread Nancy!
I read about these cases last week & am glad he’s gone & no longer shares the air we breathe. His crimes are so hideous I wish I could forget what he did. And I just read above that his own daughter was a witness to this slaying/torture/rape & whatever else he committed. So terribly sick & evil to the core.
I’m glad that it seems Felicia has been found. She deserves to have a thread here & am glad more people will know that she did live & die although I can’t imagine what horror she faced by this scum of a man.
There are so many dead people who haven’t been found yet. They’re just out there in the cold ground…..waiting, waiting, waiting to be found so that their stories can be told. I’m thankful that we are able to keep up with their stories here.

Remains found after Mississippi inmate's pre-execution tip confirmed as missing woman (nbcnews.com)
Mississippi authorities say they have identified the remains of a woman found following a tip from an inmate prior to his execution last month.

The woman has been identified as 40-year-old Felicia Cox, who disappeared in 2007, said John Weddle, who is the district attorney for several northern Mississippi counties. Her body was found on land that had once belonged to her family in Pontotoc County, Mississippi.

In a post on Facebook Wednesday afternoon, Weddle said authorities were able to identify Felicia Cox by matching her DNA with her daughter, Amber Miskelly. Miskelly was 18 when her mother went missing. He said authorities expect autopsy results within the next two weeks.

Rest peacefully, Felicia.
