The family of James Slay Vidrine originally offered a $2000 reward for tips leading to his location, and Crimestoppers has increased that reward to $5,000

Vidrine, 51, was reported missing and was last seen on October 8 in Petal around 8 a.m.

He was driving a 1984 Buick Electra. It had a Mississippi Antique tag with the number 203286. The car also had an "Aloha" sticker in the rear window.

FORREST COUNTY, MS (WDAM) - A Petal man reported missing in October was found dead Friday.

James Slay Vidrine was found in a wooded area off of Old Highway 98 near W. L. Runnels Industrial Road, according to Forrest County Deputy Coroner Lisa Klem.
