They have reported that JC was choked during that altercation. If that is true, I would like to know whether it was a girl-on-girl altercation or if a man choked her.

a sheriff releasing key details in the early stages of an investigation to a a clerk before she is even pronounced dead at the hospital equals irresponsible in my book.

I admit I have not watched every interview of the store owner. (Only so many hours in the day and Christmas is fast-approaching. Yikes!)

Can someone please provide a link to the store owner stating that the Sheriff or detectives assigned to this case told him these key details? I would very much appreciate it.

JMO I certainly was not there, but I can see this scenario happening: sirens can be heard all over the country side. Something is definitely happening in small town America. Everybody starts asking what is going on? People at home call the neighborhood store, Hey what's going on? People go out to the store for cigs just to get a look. The tow truck driver pulls up with burnt car. (You and I saw the pictures) Oh no, is that Jessica's car? Yeah man. she was on fire! I don't think she made it! The cops pull up, Hey man. did Jessica come in here tonite? Yep we need to view video. "This is the most horrific thing I have ever seen! She was on fire all over she couldn't even talk it was like her mouth and throat were burned too..." That is how things get started... innocent like....it grows as it gets spread around. I don't really see incompetence here. I see how it would happen in my small town. By morning we would THINK we knew everything. Not necessarily true.

it is interesting that nobody seems to want to discuss the man found burned in his car not far away from this incident, on the side of the road, police calling it suspicious...
no thread for it, nobody really seems to be discussing it... i wonder why that might be...

liljim, I'm watching it for updates, but sadly it is not that uncommon to read about a person found in a burning vehicle in the Memphis, TN area.. Most times, it seems that foul play is involved..

Thanks to Janice Broach (and Action 5 News) we now have the name Kendrick to add to our list of names which sound like "Eric". This is very interesting. I am surprised no one has mention this yet.

The fact that Kendrick's cousin "was locked up a year ago and remains behind bars" is interesting too.

The fact that Ali says that " he doesn't know if someone choked Jessica Chambers outside his store" -- despite a week of gossip and rumors swirling around this tidbit -- is interesting.

and Jerrick, Kedrick, and Ssedrick (sic) and those just off the top off my head. They seam to enjoy the rick out of things down there.

Does it look to you like the perp/s who did this only did it once, just to Jessica Chambers? It doesn't to me, the more I think about it. Too much confidence shown with the location and the method, seems to me.

When interviewed Ali Alsanai said

"By the time it came to eleven, the police, the sheriff, and everybody come to the store. They said, ‘we got to watch the camera.’ I said, ‘what happened?’ He said, ‘Jessica just died.’ I’m like, ‘Oh my god what happened?’ He said they poured gasoline into her mouth, that’s how I know, cause the sheriff told me."

BBM and I'm going to grab this right by the 🤬🤬🤬. The word I spelled out which started with an F, was automatically censored. I was furious with the two reporters and Ali Alsanai none of whom are black. Maybe that is the word you thought I typed but I guarantee you it sure as **** wasn't.

BTW, thanks for giving me the benefit of the doubt.

Completely off topic

OMG flatfootjoe you have solved a 5 year mystery for me. I know where I'm from the kids order pot by the chicken. But every time Im at the truck stops in W. Memphis (my hus and I are truck drivers) there is some man on the cb constantly talking about high speed chicken feed, I could never figure out what kinda drug that was.

LE can say anything they want, can even lie. Not sure why what they told AA is even being considered as a fact or true at this point.

Body Found In Burning Pickup In Millington
Washington said he is unsure of the body was dead before the pickup caught fire.

This scene is reminiscent of what happened to Jessica Chambers in Panola County, Miss., but investigators are not drawing any conclusions or connections to that case. The pickup was found burning in a ditch on the side of this road, investigators are looking into every possibility at this point.

"For now we are considering this a suspicious situation," Washington said.

I have a problem with LE engaging in unsubstantiated(at the time) gossip before the victim is even declared dead at a hospital by a medical professional. If a conversation like that took place, shame on LE!!! Investigation 101---you never release a detail that only the perp(s) would know. That conversation would be grossly unprofessional.

LE can say anything they want, can even lie. Not sure why what they told AA is even being considered as a fact or true at this point.

What the sheriff may or may not have said isn't being stated as fact by me. I said IF AA was telling the truth, it would be irresponsible. He has stated so at least twice now that he was told those things by the Sheriff. My original point is that AA should stop doing interviews. Lol. His interviews are making everyone look bad. Imo

  • #697
I want him to keep giving interviews! He isn't a suspect, was cleared. I want to know what he is told. :D

LE isn't telling us, he is the only source we have right now.

  • #698
Oh, and I'm providing the link for AA stating JC was choked. Just in case I'm asked. The link to the interview that AA did with Tom Dees was provided by Victiory already a few pages back. He says 2 sheriffs told him that.

BBM

Yes, AA says Two Sheriffs, so he probably used the word Sheriffs (later reported as the sheriff) when he meant Deputies, 2 sheriff's deputies.

IMO, the deputies (one, both) told him, were yakking, not the Sheriff himself:

I've lived in the heart of Dixie for over 40 years, and I have never heard this term used for anyone. Even Aunts are not called "Auntie". Not being argumentative, just saying this is not true for my area.

Thanks for straightening that out. I was starting to suspect Aunt Bea!

Exactly, monster! Bravo on the post! That is exactly why he should not be giving interviews. I do think there is a language barrier. I don't think English was the primary language spoken in his home. Jmo. He often struggles for the right words. This is why I feel the interview with that Tom Dees should have been edited. It was prejudicial.

BBM I have been thinking this all along. I have worked with ESL kids, have hosted foreign exchange students, and have friends who are non native speakers with heavy accents and/or have difficulty articulating exact sentence structure. I hope I get to speak with AA on my foray tomorrow; I wanted to listen to his natural speaking fluency. Difficulty with language articulation could make him look suspicious or say things incorrectly. I also suspect that he is trying to be accepted in a community where he is an outsider (he has not lived here very long IIRC) thus big man talk when he should be keeping quiet. Just one of my theories. Although I have some darker theories as well, there is no evidence yet to know whether or not he is telling the truth about anything. I will let y'all (I had to use that now that I am officially a southern gal) know what my impression of AA and M&M is when I get back.
