Hey, not bad, Joe :D

Basically, we don't know what the clerk carried outside and handed over. I can somewhat easily picture a customer receiving a phone call while waiting for a sandwich, or while paying for a candy bar or pack of cigs, and going outside to take the call while leaving the paid-for item ... or the "waited for" item ... and the clerk coming out with it ... "Hey, you forgot this" or "Here's your sandwich". It doesn't seem at all odd or fishy to me that the clerk brought something outside to someone.

Or unlocking the bathroom?

(I like your shoe)! :D

Me too ~ been watching them change. :loveyou:

I would turn down a menthol.

The exception would be menthols. :yuck: In that case I'd walk a mile for a Camel. :D (It's been 9 years since I quit, Amen.)

Heck. If I want a smoke, I'd rip off the filter. Menthols never bothered me.

BBM. Every non-menthol smoker I've ever known including myself would turn down a menthol.

Heck,(I quit smoking when I was pregnant & he's 27) & yeah,I still miss 'em. My problem you see is,"my darn stilettos drink like fish & chain smoke too".

Wow. I am so clueless about this stuff. I really had no idea. Chicken, crack pipes, oy vey.

Reminds me of a time way back in the early '70s. A guy in a local shop made pretty little mirrors with lead and colored glass around the edges. I said to him, "hey, can you make me one of those for my grandmother?" He looked at me funny and said, "your grandmother snorts coke?"

I'm just sitting here smdh wondering what is going on in this world. I am far from naive. You cannot possibly work in a DV shelter as a drug and alcohol counselor as long as I did and still be as dumb as I must be! I'm wondering if I'm not the one who has gone mad! Lol

The best way to get an education on drug culture is to be a part of it, or in the effort against it. Truthfully I wouldn't recommend either.

My jaw is on the floor from just a few minutes google search on Rudds. Hope I can figure out the rest of your cryptic clues. :chicken:

Top 10 characteristics of the person(s) responsible:

-Likely female
-Either the same age as Jessica or a couple of years older than Jessica (maybe knows Jessica through siblings)
-Lives nearby
-Obviously was near the crime scene that night
-Visited the crime scene afterwards
-Uses mineral spirits
-Saw Jessica frequently
-Dresses the same as Jessica (e.g., pajama pants)
-Does not like change leading to rumors being exposed (e.g., fight with a sibling)
-Based the crime on revenge (of either a sibling or societal norm (e.g., anti-Barbie types, anti-gang))

I had to get out of that years ago. Watched too many of my clients die horrible deaths. After awhile, the heart can't take anymore. I volunteer my time for a couple of things, but I could not bring those feelings home anymore. Sure, I had ways of coping, but after a period, even those weren't working. It was no longer something I loved because it brought me great sadness. The success stories were few, I will tell you that.

That's where I am leaning, but I need some factual data. If this is so, the person had help. JMO

It was in horribly poor taste, but it was meant to be comic relief. No disrespect intended to Jessica, I believe she was a lovely young girl, who had every right and reason to live. I've come to tears more than once thinking about her. I've just grown so solemn and somber here, just reading, and continuing to research everywhere I can. It's almost like a part time job now. I had to do something to break it up.

-Two or three females
-They could have walked to their houses
-One had an argument with Jessica and the other left with Jessica (perhaps purposefully) to park down the street
-The pouring of the mineral spirits was revenge (e.g., an anti-Barbie/jealousy for disfigurement purposes)

For all of the posters, and there are several, (I was one until I got a 24-hour vacation) who keep making veiled references to things they read on one or two "unauthorized" sites, and acting as if they know something and are busting to tell the rest of the folks here...I can pretty much guarantee that most of the rest of the folk here, at least those of us who have been here a while, have been keeping an eye on those same sites and we already know those same things too. This has been a public service announcement. ;)

I had to bust me a rhyme, you're my muse Ms Pragmatic.

Come on down to M&Ms
Slang some chikkin or meet with friends
Buy some gas to burn a ho
Just come on down but take it slow

Git your soda here and take a ride
Just stay away from that west side
Towtrucks welcome, stripe shirts too
Just don't be postin **** to your boo

Sherrif Jimmy visits time ta time
He loves to talk bout all da crime
We got players all over Miss
Ali though he's down with this

Come on down to M&Ms
Buy some chikkin or choke some friends
Get some smokes to give away
Don't bug on Ali though, he don't play.

Excellent!
:Thumbs up:

How are you so confident that mineral spirits are involved? JMO

I don't understand what an uproar not allowing flowers yet caused....does it not make sense that a new lead could send them back to *IMO* ONE of the crime scenes? For people to bombard them with calls when the should be focused on actual tips seems counterproductive. I agree the PD there needs to be scrutinized and this case looks like it had some deep roots, but come on. People are demanding answers and interrupting the process at the same time. I thought the SM around Skylar Neeses case was significant, but this is on a whole new level. All and all, fascinating. I know I can't stop refreshing on several different sites.

Or unlocking the bathroom?

One of the problems we might have is that the customer never appears on camera to go inside. He hangs around the barrels. The store clerk followed another customer into the dark parking side yard. But the customer for the small package merely appears from the darkness, hangs on the barrels, and the clerk delivers the package.
