I'm not too certain that it was NOT COMMON KNOWLEDGE. Once Chambers realized that she had something worthwhile and marketable she probably (imo) began shooting her mouth off. Something like that would be natural for a 19-year-old with a story that seemed "marketable".

I can cite several dozens of similar situations.

I totally agree. Most 19 yr olds talk about bold plans very publicly. " I am working on a book/CD/band/invention...etc " It is the age of discovery and exploration and everyone always asks 19 yr olds what they are doing now, planning for their lives etc.

I would think especially if Jessica was enthusiastic about her new job & that she was turning her life around. I also believe (rightly so) she had regained some of her identity and self-esteem. She would be eager to greet everyone with her newfound confidence.MOO

Is it possible JC called 911 before her phone was snatched from her? Which is why the 911 call is being kept close to the vest?

I know that they said it was a car driving by...but maybe it really wasn't.

. . . (p.s. Who has heard of someone named Mister)
I always wondered what happened to Mr. Mister after the mid-80s. :D I never would have guessed that "the road that [he] must travel" would have led to Courtland, Mississippi!

Ok, so I am leaving to go see my daughter sing with her new band tonight. I will be away from the keyboard until tomorrow. Please solve this mystery while I am gone. Thanks.

A lover's quarrel between who, I wonder. Would that have anything to do with the choking incident at the gas station?

Oh yeah, Mid-80's. I was about a decade off. But that was who I thought of too.

Is it easily recognizable by scent? JMO

Just for the record: Mineral spirits are commonly referred to as "paint thinner". I suppose I could elaborate on gum turnpetine but 'mineral spirits' since about 1990 have always been 'paint thinner'. What is really important here is the VOC, volatile organic compounds.

I'm thinking about it and JC making that 911 call makes perfect sense. Could be how they knew someone was with her at the time. Could be why they knew it wasn't an accident from the beginning. they NEVER went at this like an accident.

And didn't the FC say he knew it was JC when he arrived??

Yes, he did. And maybe her mentioning the name Derrick or Eric wasn't with her dying breath, but in the 911 call, which is why they won't release info on that call!!!

You know what was missing from the very beginning? A statement from LE that they were investigating an accident. Car off the road near a tree on a rural road. Yet, they KNEW it was not an accident from the beginning.

Many times I am wrong, I could be in wrong about this, but to me, that shout out for the cigarette just comes across as a challenge to me. Like a challenge for position, "You are scared of me and you should be." I do not know these people and am basing my opinion on JC's body language.

You know she knew who was standing there. She pumped gas and was around her car, anyone from a small town or even an area that has a gas station hang out KNOWS who is there when you pull up to the pumps.

She pulled up to the pumps with the nose of the car facing in the direction of the people who eventually shouted to her. They were close enough to shout out to her so you know she had to have seen them, yet she doesn't acknowledge them as far as I can make out until they holler to her.

IF this is her ex-boyfriend's sister, ? That's some interesting body language.

Maybe asking for a cigarette was just a lure to get JC up close to confirm it was really her---& then signal "confirmed" to the real murderer?

Could be, right?

A small town with nothing to do...a gas station like that is probably a magnet to 15-20 year olds.

Down here we have Sheetz, huge enough gas station that dozens of kids could trade stories.... or drugs.

When I grew up it was a 24 hour truck stop. Kids who were cool enough to stay out all night, but not old enough to drink would go there.

When you get a crowd of unsupervised teens, inevitably problems can occur. It's not a library or boy scout meet up.

I'm sure AA knows of the possible activity at his station. It's business for his family...I'm sure blunt wraps are flying out of there. Regardless, I'm not sure what to make of him but it seems very probable he knows a lot more than he is leading on to.

I didn't see too many "teens", mostly 20 somethings and older in the videoes......

I've noticed that they are doing that now, but was surprised to see they were not locked up tight to begin with.

The whole generation is like that, My FB is locked up so tight, I can't see half the stuff on it. Not that I use it anymore.

It hasn't been cleared? As in all evidence? That really worries me b/c on a Twitter feed someone was def. at that crime scene with no LE around taking photos. They documented a windshield wiper and bottle that had not been collected for evidence. I wonder how many others have been scene taking photos and it isn't considered a cleared crime scene?

I think the 911 caller referred to it as a car fire , not an accident..as per Fire Chief ,he thought it was a routine call for a car fire and was surprised when he saw someone walk out of the woods. How soon did LE arrive on scene after the 911 call? It seems from all I have read that this LE agency is over their head or overwhelmed with the gang crime and racial conflicts. To make a statement that what was whispered by JC to the Fire Chief could lead to the murderer and then come out and say that an arrest is not forthcoming anytime soon just makes LE looked like they called their own bluff, imo.

I don't understand what an uproar not allowing flowers yet caused....does it not make sense that a new lead could send them back to *IMO* ONE of the crime scenes? For people to bombard them with calls when the should be focused on actual tips seems counterproductive. I agree the PD there needs to be scrutinized and this case looks like it had some deep roots, but come on. People are demanding answers and interrupting the process at the same time. I thought the SM around Skylar Neeses case was significant, but this is on a whole new level. All and all, fascinating. I know I can't stop refreshing on several different sites.

Typically in other "Social Justice" cases, roadside shrines are erected immediately. Some people have a not so hidden agenda. Some of us just want to be certain Jessica is remembered too. If I were that property owner, I'd turn that small plot over to the state. It doesn't inhibit his private road or passage.

Lol, it was actually my wife's thought, not mine. I tell her about this case because I'm obsessed with seeing #justiceforjessica. She just asked me if Jessica called 911 before she was killed and something clicked. Now, I'm looking for any details out there that may point to her making that call!
