A small town with nothing to do...a gas station like that is probably a magnet to 15-20 year olds.

Down here we have Sheetz, huge enough gas station that dozens of kids could trade stories.... or drugs.

When I grew up it was a 24 hour truck stop. Kids who were cool enough to stay out all night, but not old enough to drink would go there.

When you get a crowd of unsupervised teens, inevitably problems can occur. It's not a library or boy scout meet up.

I'm sure AA knows of the possible activity at his station. It's business for his family...I'm sure blunt wraps are flying out of there. Regardless, I'm not sure what to make of him but it seems very probable he knows a lot more than he is leading on to.

5 or 6 months ago about 3 miles from my home we had an altercation involving about 45 different youths from the area. The farmboys and the drug culture clash pretty frequently. We have a huge gas station here too, and at 2 or 3 AM, it's the place to be for sure. Kids of all ages though, 16-25 in that range.

It's a social draw for them.

Ok, so what you are saying is that a fire investigation would determine fairly quickly that it was the accelerant used? If so, how quickly would that be learned?

A good modern mass spectrometer could do it easily within an hour for certain accelerants.

WOW!!!! Thank you that!

Very interesting. Jessica's mom posted under that news report as well asking to see the post in which it states a cousin said it was Jessica who called. Seems she doesn't know anything about that which leads me to believe it is not true.

First responders arrived within 4 minutes of the call. The first responders were told that the victim was walking down the road. However, when first responders arrive she is laying on the ground near her vehicle.

Please do not ask for a link. If you need one, just forget what you just read.
Gosh, if that is true I wonder if the 911 caller was able to assist Jessica in any way - other than of course making the call. Have there been any news reports of the actual caller being interviewed? Could be that LE asked them not to talk to the media, or maybe they are too traumatized to talk about it, or maybe it was Jessica herself that called?

Let's say investigators had a tip that both people were know to have interacted with Jessica in the last week of her life. That was the reason the investigators wanted to question and video tape them individually( but) at the same time is to preserve the element of surprise. Then they can compare statements for discrepancies. It was important to bring them in together so not to give either time to take flight or evade questioning. MOO

Admittedly, the older I get, the less I am able to gauge ages of younger people, but doesn't this guy look considerably older than this girl, and certainly considerably older than Jessica?? And seriously, I'm an average looking guy and I have trouble finding one interested lady...and we are to believe this guy may have had two fighting over him????? Sheesh

I'm trying to figure out who the lovers supposedly were...Mister and Tutor or Mister and Jessica?
Why would LE question him if he had no interaction with Jessica? Tutor sent her a text and that's why she was questioned.

I clicked the "cousin" name and she has nothing that I saw about Jessica on her page. She does like a murder mystery game tho.

Maybe it's another one of those supposedly Southern things I read about upthread. Everyone who isn't 'auntie' is 'cousin'. JMO

Just in my opinion, lots of associates and friends began to worry when word when out that Jessica Chambers wanted to consult with a writer about telling her life story.
bbm sbm

Is it poss she may have bn like some other teens, perhaps a bit narcissistic, thinking her life story would be a best seller? IDK.

Or as some here have commented, perhaps her story would be a basis for a book - sadly. IDK.

I can't really answer you because I just don't know if he knew Jessica or not, but maybe Tutor was jealous of Jessica for some reason and sent her a "stay away from my man" sort of text. When I was in college I had a male neighbor I barely even knew...we would say hi or wave if we saw each other going to or fro that's about it. One day I got this knock on my door from his crazy girlfriend who was insistent that we were having an some sort of affair. This went on for months and she wouldn't leave me alone (or him apparently) alone about it. I'm not saying this happened here in this situation, but it could have. Jealous women (and men for that matter) can be freaks.

If by "Having dinner" with them and "catching up" means a "beat down and set on fire", then yes. I agree 100%.

Edit: Forgot the quote. Now I can't figure out how to delete this post?

I don't know what the cousin may or may not have said. My wife, who does not follow this case, brought up the point as we were eating dinner tonight. I hadn't thought of it. But it sure is possible.

SIAP- I just joined in and only checked a few pages back... Does anyone have an MSM article on this George Mister guy>? I just read on twitter that George said he took a lie detector test and a cotton swab.... That means they have DNA!!! If true!!!

I'm not an expert, but would they take a cotton swab from him, just in case they find DNA later? Or do you think they already have some from JC?

I agree. It could very well be true, but since the mom wasn't aware of it....my reaction was that maybe it wasn't....but we don't know do we? Wish they would release that call!

Two things though:

1) I thought her battery was separated from her phone. How would she call 911?

2) 911 calls are a matter of public record. There have probably been multiple media requests for the recording. Unless I am mistaken, can't the authorities be compelled to release the recording?

The call could have been interrupted, the phone taken from her. I know at least one person had to remain behind to watch to make sure the deed was done.

I don't think they do if the call itself is a matter of evidence in an active investigation.

I DO think they will solve this. I really do!

Maybe the mom knew it was the truth and was wondering who was putting out info that wasn't supposed to be known to us.
Just a thought.

ETA removed a quote I didn't know was attached

I pray you are right! I have to say though...I really thought that LE would have someone in custody by now. I know investigations take time, but honestly...it seems local LE is perplexed. I'm glad other agencies have been called in. Something just doesn't seem right here.
