Just my opinion, but the search for justice is likely best served by pursuing the integrity of the evidence and investigation, and so 'no comment' and 'it's an ongoing investigation' are ways of serving JC. LE has its reasons for keeping tight lipped. So far as I'm concerned, concerns about the investigation trump the public's curiosity any day of the week, and that's why it is the law that LE does not need to disclose information from an ongoing investigation. They are not a public information service for amateur sleuthers, and I trust their judgment and concern.
