Ah, Dean and old Blue Eyes -- one-half of the Rat Pack. They always seemed to have such a good time whenever they got together. Let's hope the "Pack of Rats" spending Christmas in the Panola County calaboose is not having such a good time, and that they start rolling over on each other in earnest with a little LE encouragement... and that the DA gets the one more piece of evidence he needed to take the Jessica Chambers case to their Grand Jury at long last.

This was my first full case at websleuths and I believed it would be solved fairly quickly, say within six months. So it has been a surprise to say the least in over a year now still no resolution. But the recent arrests are very encouraging so here's to a grand jury in 2016.

Same here, Han, as you can see from my joined date. I'll bet Jessica Chambers has drawn a lot of folks. Balancing the disappointment of an unsolved murder, I've absorbed quite a lot here, and "met" a lot of beautiful minds along the way. I'd trade it all in though for one conviction, hopefully with a capital "C" punishment attached.

If Jessica was able to speak, at all, after having her throat doused with a flammable liquid and ignited that would surely swell her vocal cords and windpipe, in addition to the inhalation of hot as he!! toxic smoke from the rubber tires. Thus, I conclude, it impossible that she spoke. LD lied when she said Jessica spoke in the air vac. LD wasn't even on the air-vac.

CH wants to be a hero by saying she confided in him although he cannot tell us what was said. Rumor has it that it was Eric, Derick or some form within those sounds. LEO did speak to Eric Bibbs. But they also spoke immediately with Mister and his beloved Denise was married to his brother, PM. None of their names resemble "Eric". IMHO, it is a false flag. CH's interview in the rocking chair is a farce. Notice uu he explains how her "knew it was her".

Also, Santa Dex, since I've been a very good girl this year, I hope you leave a shiny white Benz in my drive with the keys easy to find on the Christmas tree. Thanks in advance for accommodating my Christmas wish. :sleigh:

BC continued, "They squirted fluid down her throat and up her nose. She was burned on the inside just so bad, ya know. The doctors told us there was nothing they could do."

Assistant DA Jay Hale was not present at the CS. He is relying upon CH's words that JC whispered something to CH. At the CS, there was noise from the gushing water from the fire hoses, noises from the crackling of burning trees, noises from the burning vehicle and difficult to extinguish rubber tires, and so do not expect me to believe, as badly as Jessica was burned from the flash fire, that she was able to speak and FCCH heard her words.

In this video, beginning at 00:32, CH leaves the impression that he had a conversation with Jessica. I call his bluff. You've seen the now famous despicable picture of the Fire Chief wearing a G-string, I presume.

The very idea -- The Fire Chief, speaking to prolly thousands of people and possibly members of her own family who are hanging on to anything he says about her, and he is rocking in his desk chair???

He might just as well have been talking to a buddy about deer-hunting or going out to a new bar, etc. It just made me angrier and angrier as he went on with his high-handed little spiel. Grrrr. How utterly disrespectful of poor Jessica, her family and other loved ones and to all the people watching him. Some Chief.

hmartin, FYI -- the wearer of the striped shirt was cleared early-on by LE. Here is the latest restatement of that fact, from last week's article in PEOPLE magazine:

"The surveillance camera also picks up a man wearing a striped shirt filling up a gas can before walking in the same direction as the teen. Soon afterwards, Jessica returns to her car and drives off. According to WISTV, the police cleared the man wearing the striped shirt."​

So I guess nothing new will emerge until she returns to work and rattles some more cages. In the meantime, I was unable to decipher the date of the interviews with Darby (Panola Sheriff) and Champion (Panola DA) in the following clip, but somehow they seem very recent to me. At the very least, they were made after the reward money had reached $54K. Any thoughts as to when they were shot? IS there a timeline for the reward money? It almost seems like they were filming a Public Service Announcement.

Dec. 12, 2014 - The Local Crime Stoppers Unit donated a $1000 reward.

Dec. 12, 2014 - The U.S. Marshal's Service is now offering a $10,000 reward for information in the murder of 19-year-old Jessica Chambers, bringing the total amount to $11,000.

Dec 16, 2014 - District Attorney John Champion says the reward currently remains at $11,000. Private groups have committed to raising that to $29,000, but are waiting on paperwork before it's official. *Note - Apparently a $6800 donation was given possibly by private donors since the total by Dec. 25 was $17,800.

Dec. 25, 2014 - Darby tells The Commercial Appeal that the reward grew Monday to $17,800, and more is expected soon.

Jan 16, 2015 - The FBI offered $25,000 for information leading to the ID, arrest and conviction of those responsible for Jessica's death.

Jan 22, 2015 - ATF offered a new $10,000 donation has raised the reward fund for information in the Jessica Chambers case which raises the reward to $53,000.

Feb. 9, 2015 - Yalobusha County Crime Stoppers added $1000 to the reward bringing it to $54,000.

My math skills brings the total to $53,800 but $54k is greater so it's alright with me.

Respectfully, and this is only speculation, but CH witnessed Jessica in a terrible state and it may have been traumatic for him (i.e. post-traumatic stress). I don't know how often FF witness burn victims, but I think it would be difficult emotionally/psychologically nonetheless. CH is a volunteer too, so not sure how often volunteers would encounter burn victims. Jmo/

I have tried to keep up with the #12 threads, I had to glean. Prior to this, I googled the case and there was a shocking lack of information. The timeline, is a sketchy, vague account of JCs whereabouts. I cannot fathom why details or document dumps have not been provided to the public. Why is there such a shroud of mystery or secrecy.
