Yesterday, August 7, 2018, Detectives of the Olive Branch Police Department, with the assistance of Williamson County Illinois Sheriff's Department, apprehended and charged the following subjects with Kidnapping and Conspiracy for the kidnapping of Aubrey Peal III on August 1, 2018. These subjects will be extradited to our jurisdiction within the next few days:

Juan E. Andrade, 30, and Jason St Aubin,29, both of 13242 Lakeview Dr, Creal Springs, IL

Both subjects received a bond of $555,555 for the charge of kidnapping and $55,555 for the charge of conspiracy, respectively.

Two men arrested after 14-year-old goes missing out of Olive Branch

The boy is an avid video game player who often used the app Discord.

Police believe this is how 30-year-old Juan E. Andrade and 29-year-old Jason St. Aubin communicated with him.

Investigators said the pair traveled to Mississippi from Illinois to take the teen.

Dang. I am so glad they caught them. I hope that all of the people who were saying that the app wasn't used "that way" will open their eyes and take down their false sense security. The "It can't happen to me" mentality is ludicrous if you have a child or teen using any form of social media.

Wow, this reminds me of a show that I believe was on Investigation Discovery. It was based in England where a young man of about 16 or 17 was an avid video game player and chatted on line. He was invited to meet someone and was later found murdered. I think if I had a child in the home using a computer or pad, I would have some serious controls on the system.

Ok, now I’m even more angry. This kid thought he was doing the right thing, helping fellow human beings in distress. Despicable!

I’m glad he’s back, and glad we’re not having to refer to him by his initials.
