Just completely makes me sick to my stomach. Just look at that adorable little six year old boy. I will never in this lifetime understand how any person could look this child in the face and shoot.

There are two DW's in this madness. Which one?

This is the most awful thing. It's heartbreaking. This poor little sweet boy. His poor mama. I left my baby boy in the running but locked car in my friend's driveway very briefly. It was fine, but for whatever reason I've felt guilty about it, and that was in like 1995. I just want to lift him out of that graduation photo and give him a big ice cream cone and smell his hair and kiss his little cheeks. This is so horribly sad. 😢

hope that's not true

Hope not too, but this story is just so weird. ****s just happened upon a running car in a parking lot in the middle of the night, and a kid just happened to be in it, and the mom didn't immediately scream "my kid is missing!" and just "my car is missing!"????

Ebony Archie collapsed after learning her child had been killed. Unable to stand, a family member carried her down a flight of stairs at the district attorney’s office in downtown Jackson.

And why was her activist uncle called by police?

Less than 30 minutes later, police called Frazier’s uncle, David Archie, and asked him to meet them at the district attorney’s office downtown. JMO

Suspect's father: "MY SON'S INNOCENT!" Dwan Wakefield Sr responds to arrest of his son, Dwan Wakefield Jr, on a capital murder charge in connection with death of 6-year-old Kingston Frazier.

There are very powerful accusations in the comments so I just want to remind everyone to not talk about them here. If they are true, we will hopefully hear about it soon.

Same. And I hope that whatever happened, that the right people/person is convicted. When more than one person is involved, whatever the circumstance really is, things can get a little messy.

I had read (sorry I don't remember what news outlet posted it) that the child was found in the trunk. If that's the case...child in trunk, park car at store and leave running, someone steals car, they open the trunk and whoa...ditch the car.
