I don’t think it’s too often as I see a few all the time that have been identified up to 2 years ago.Since the first person listed there is now identified, it makes me wonder how often exclusions are updated/corrected?
My theory is that Leigh and her mother got into a heated argument which went too far. There is evidence that suggests Leigh was being physically abused at home. Perhaps she was at the age where she was staring to fight back and it escalated too far?Yet another missing person case that seems like a domestic homicide that was covered up. The defensive behavior of the mother and her attempt to control the narrative is telling. Why is it that so many of these cases seem to have had a botched investigation/sloppy police work? Poor Leigh.
I am curious too.I wonder what prompted this.
Agents with the FBI, MBI, and other law enforcement agencies were searching a ditch next to the house on Honey Locust Drive, where Leigh Occhi was last seen in August of 1992.
I agree, although it probably is common in cases like these. It would narrow down suspects considerably. Of course, we don't know yet.Although I have to admit it will be really sad if she was right next to her home the entire time.
Law agencies still searching 33 years later for missing Tupelo teen
I wonder as well.I wonder what prompted this.
I haven't. What's a good title to search for?Has anyone seen the broadcast special featuring Leigh's half-sister Lauren? It's available on YouTube. Very interesting.
