It's strange that the police didn't interview Leigh's boyfriend. I know he was 11, and went to a different school, but he and Leigh spoke daily on the phone and he could have given them information that might have helped. He himself has said that he was surprised the cops never questioned him.

I wonder what findings, if any, came from this recent search.
