Circumstances of Disappearance:
Gunn went missing from Cash, Mississippi in late 1955 to January 1956. She left on a bus headed to Jackson, Mississippi and was never seen or heard from again.

Gunn had previously lived in Greenville, North Carolina and Savannah, Georgia before moving back to Cash. She was going by the name Mabel Wall at the time she went missing. Few details are available regarding her disappearance and her whereabouts remain unknown.

Bump. Wall seems to be her married name as she appears (as Mable Wall of Savannah, Georgia) in her mothers obituary at Clarion-Ledger from Jackson, Mississippi. The clipping can be read without a subscription. Her parents (Robert E Gunn and Minnie Lee Moore) seem to have both died in the 1940s and her last sibling in 2019. It seems she previously lived in Greensboro' NC rather than Greensville as there is a marriage record for her from December 1940 showing her marrying Mathew Clarence Nichols. They appear in multiple trees but he remarries in 1952 so they must have divorced before that which is consistent with her remarrying or getting together with a spouse called Wall, although I have not found a marriage.
