Silver Alert issued for missing Jones County woman last seen in Moss Point

Maxine Goldman, 68, has medical issues that can impair her judgment.

Goldman was seen in the 1400 block of Oak Haven Drive in Moss Point about 6 p.m. Thursday, Strain said.

She was driving a silver 2007 Mercury Grand Marquis with Mississippi license plate JNP 437.

This one is fairly close to me and her missing poster is circulating on my face book feed.
Can someone clear something up for me? I have seen more than one comment on those posts from people I know personally saying that she was last seen in Chattanooga? As in TN? This point has not been in any official information that I have been able to find. Moss Point and Jones County are in the southernmost region of our state which is quite a distance from Chattanooga. I originally chalked it up to a mistake until I saw it commented on again. If this lady has indeed ended up in TN from where she started, something is horribly wrong. I am hoping that is misinformation and she is somewhere close to home and will be found soon. It is oppressingly hot here right now.

If I read it right, her daughter posted on FB an hour ago that they are on their way to Decatur AL to pick her up. No MSM yet.

She has been found! Just saw it on twitter from Mike Evans with WLBT on twitter. His source was the MBI. I am looking for a link to that source.

If that is Decatur, MS then she was not too far away from where she was trying to get to. Poor lady. I hope she was just lost and will be okay.
