His mother states his phone near Memphis but unsure how accurate. He also needs several medications but does not have them with him; mentally unstable.

Sean had last been seen walking down Concord-Bethsalem Road in rural Choctaw County by his uncle on Aug. 11 wearing blue jeans without shoes or a shirt on. His uncle reported his nephew missing three days later.

His mother had last seen her son the Saturday before he disappeared — they had spent the day together eating lunch out and visiting together at her home.

This doesn’t sound good. I hope they find answers soon.
Sean left his phone, wallet and his medication at his grandmother’s house where he had been staying since his last inpatient stay at East Mississippi State Hospital in Meridian. Sean had been committed to the hospital three times —- once in December, once in January and again in May, when he stayed two months.

Diagnosis: ADHD, bipolar disorder with mania and psychotic features, and hallucinations

Choctaw Police had to call off search with the help of MS Bureau of Investigations due to excessive heat & dryness.

The publicity has led to some puzzling twists, including some people calling and asking Sean’s mother for ransom.

To report information on Sean Hunt’s whereabouts, call the Choctaw County Sheriff’s Department at 662-285-6129.

Ackerman Police Chief Tim Cook said Officer Amanda Vance was reprimanded for using abusive language regarding 27-year-old Travis Sean Hunt, whose whereabouts remain unknown.

Kim Haynes, Hunt’s mother, would not comment on Vance’s social media post. She said she is aware that the sheriff’s office has spoken to the FBI about Hunt’s case and that preparations were underway to get search warrants for property surrounding Concord-Bethsalem Road, where her son disappeared. “I hope he’s OK somewhere, but if not, I hope they find him this way,” Haynes said.

I feel so sorry for Travis' mother, and for Travis' other family members, who are so worried about Travis. Travis' mother, ("KH"), posts about Travis being missing regularly on FB. I hope the APD's revived concern about Travis produces some leads.
