Hunt was reported missing to the Choctaw County Sheriff’s Department by his uncle three days after he was last seen.
Hunt suffers from bipolar disorder with mania and psychotic features and is in need of his medication. He had stayed at the East Mississippi State Hospital in Meridian three times, and was living with his grandmother after his last commitment.
The case took an odd turn when someone called Hunt’s mother, Kim Haynes, and demanded a ransom.
Haynes told the Red Hills News that Hunt isn’t dangerous to anyone except himself.
