I am not going to comment on every post here about the boys, but it coming out today that there is no re-scheduling of questioning for them makes me at this point in time say. I hope LE gets a court order and I want to see mommy and daddy's face when they come take the kids away for questioning without them or their lawyer being able to do a damn thing. The DA can do this and its time they do. I myself will be making phone calls to the DA's office there to see why this isnt being done. I am disgusted. I think its time for mommy and daddy to see that they dont hold all the cards.. Lets give part of that deck to Lisa now..

I would certainly hope that it doesn't get to this point. Why would anyone wish that on a child or a parent? Why would we want to "see" the faces of the parents when it happens? I think we need to put blame where is needs to be and that is one their lawyers....they are following the advice of them.

The boys have been interviewed! We have NO idea how LE did it or what they said..I as a parent would do everything in my power to protect my kids. We do NOT know how the kids are handling any of this. I would do what I think is best for my kids and could give a damn what the general public thought:furious:

Oh I have definitely seen cases where parents won't work with police, but 99.99% of the time it is because those parents are guilty as sin. So, this case is unique in that everyone seems to be looking at Jersey which, I agree, he is the PERFECT suspect. But...then we have parents spending nearly a month "upset" because a police officer was mean to them and refusing to work with LE to help find their child. That just...I cannot get over it.

Even in Hailey's case, and Haleigh's case, the adults at least faked concern and sat through interviews...this one is a new one to me, where they absolutely refuse to meet with LE for a month.

You are correct-even when the parents do seem guilty as sin they still pretended to cooperate at least for awhile. Such a weird case.

Kansas City police said they are not actively searching for 11-month-old Lisa Irwin. Police also said the parents still are not cooperating in the investigation.

Heck, even Elisa Baker told cops where to look for at least some of the remains, and that woman is evil to the core and despised Zahra.

They used the grand jury to question Drew Petersons kids because he would not let them. He fought the GJ and lost and the boys were questioned.

Yes this is true however Peterson NEVER allowed the boys to be interviewed even when it first happened. These boys were interviewed right after Lisa was missing...

I would be the last person to compare Peterson's case to any other case out there...he controlled everything and everyone...he was LE so he got special treatment. He KNEW exactly what he was doing where I think DB and JI are like deer in headlights. IMO

And that helped how? They're still missing and probably for the same reason baby Lisa is missing.

I didn't say it helped, I said I couldn't think of a case where the parents hadn't at least pretended to work with LE...JMO

JMO, but I would think if LE really thought they had a homicide case they would be more determined to find the body.

Well ok. If lying to cops is better for some, I understand. Personally, I'd rather someone not talk to me than lie to my face but I respect your opinion.

But they were interviewed right at the beginning which is when it would be freshest in their memory. I don't think re-interviewing at this point would do anything but mentally scar them even more than I am sure they already are.

If I knew that my child had told them everything about that day/night, no I would not make them go through it again. JMO.

Me too!

I had never seen a missing child case that LE gives up on in just one month.
Perhaps they know for sure what really happened but if they do why aren't they arresting someone.

Like you said if even if LE knows for sure that she is dead I would think they would still be searching for a body.

This re-interview was supposed to take place with a child psychologist, and NOT with the police present. I think it is the best thing that can happen for those boys. The NEED to talk to a counselor and they need to talk about what happened that night. It is not helping them to ignore the situation or to not ask them what they remember. This is going to be a traumatic thing that will affect them forever. They need to talk to professionals about it and the sooner the better. imoo
