JJP is now down to 4 minutes of coverage, LE is not currently conducting ground searches, and I'm thinking of moving on from this case due to frustration. Not good signs for parents who truly want the world to focus on finding their missing child.

The only person LE has directly announced as being cleared of any involvement in the disappearance of Lisa is Jersey.

Jeremy Irwin claims LE told him early on that he was cleared, and that the people on the list he and Debbi provided to LE were all cleared. But, LE could have been lying to him, or Jeremy could have misunderstood - we never heard it from LE.

Samantha Brando's husband claims that he has been cleared and that LE has moved on after extensive investigation, but again, we didn't hear that from LE.

I agree, we don't know much about who LE is still really looking at (heck, we don't even know if they've been permitted to formally interview Samantha Brando).

I fully agree with this, madge. I literally cringed when it was known this 'benefactor' had this flamboyant P.I. go in and start the circus. Then came Tacopina. That made it worse, IMO. I am all for anyone having a lawyer if they feel they need one. Just take that lawyer to the police station with you and let him or her protect your rights. Cooperate with LE.

I would have had a great deal of respect for this 'benefactor' if she had just offered the reward and left LE to do their job.

I dont know where a video is or if there is one if it is still active. I saw it on the local news. It was when they filmed her house being gone through by LE and her talking to them then it appeared they requested her presence back inside the house with them. She was sitting on her porch and appeared to be crying or at least distressed.

Thanks. I had heard about a woman on her front door steps crying then going back into the home but never saw actual video. Do you think it was the first day or the second day you saw it?

But I had also heard about a 17-year-old who supposedly had access to the garage door code. Whatever happened to that 17-year-old or was that all a bunch of rumor and nothing to it?

Actually, Jim Spellman of CNN did say that KCPD said they had interviewed Mr. Brando and they were "moving on." Now you can either accept moving on as most people do or analyze it to mean something else. I take it what it means particularly if the part about the polygraph is correct. And if he failed a polygraph I somehow doubt KCPD would have let that claim by him go unchallenged.

Nope, (referring to Jersey) LE never said he was cleared. That was the reporter's understanding, it is not a direct quote from LE.

Kansas City Police Department spokesman Steve Young said he could not discuss investigators interviews with Wright. However, Young did say the man known as "Jersey" has been interviewed and cleared of any involvement in the baby's disappearance.

"We spoke to him and are moving on," Young said.

100 percent. She just got one thing wrong. Bill Stanton met the family member through the wealthy benefactor. Not the other way around.

It really bothers me when I see Bill Stanton lie about facts in the case and then think someone is paying him to do it. Flags go up for me.

I heard him on Joy Behar weeks ago say that he met the benefactor through a family member of his. Did I misunderstand?
