Yep, that's him. He looks to be quite a bit older than Amy, MOO.
I thought he was her dad when I was looking at her FB.

Search continues for missing Great Falls woman Amy Harding-Permann
[...]

Searchers and detectives from the Sheriff's office, Great Falls Police Department, Malmstrom Air Force Base, and rural fire departments looked throughout the day on the ground, in the river, and in the air with a helicopter and drone. Search dogs are also being used.

[...]

Sheriff Slaughter says that at this point, they are not asking for volunteers to assist in the search, but will let people know if that changes. He advised that people avoid the area if possible so search crews can perform their duties.

Cascade County Sheriff: Missing Great Falls woman is Benefis OR nurse
At a Monday afternoon news conference, Cascade County Sheriff Jesse Slaughter said deputies responded to a 911 call from the residence at 8:19 p.m. for a report of a disturbance.

Upon arriving about 10 minutes later, law enforcement contacted the caller, John VanGilder. He stated that Harding, his girlfriend, had assaulted him and fled before deputies arrived on the scene.

"Assaulted" could mean anything. If there was a fight and she put her hands on him, it can be considered assault. I'd be curious to know more but there seems to be very little...phone pings? Last person to see her? Chris Watts told people they had a fight and she just disappeared...thankfully the Frederick Police were smarter than he was.

I thought he was her dad when I was looking at her FB.

She looks younger than her age while he looks older than his age. It is a 16 or 17 year age difference.

Sheriff asks for volunteers to help in the search for Amy Harding-Permann
[...]

He says that with improving weather conditions, he is asking people who wish to help in the search to meet at Faith Lutheran Church (1300 Ferguson Drive) at 7:30 a.m. on Wednesday, and be prepared to assist until sunset.

Slaughter asks that volunteers be at least 18 years old, in good health, and wear weather-appropriate clothing. He asked that volunteers also wear a safety vest (such as used for hunting) or a life-jacket (such as used for boating). Bring your own water and a sack lunch, along with identification and a cell phone. He stressed that safety of the volunteer searchers is critical.

He also said that a "Code Red" alert will be sent out to alert people in and around the search area that searchers will be in the vicinity of Woodland Estates and Flood Road on Wednesday.

I don't know what to think on this one. Being a neurosurgeon has to be incredibly stressful, though.

"Sheriff Slaughter declined to release any details of any possible criminal investigation at this point, and stressed that at this point, it is still a missing person investigation."
Sheriff asks for volunteers to help in the search for Amy Harding-Permann

Due to the weather conditions and the fact she was not wearing clothing appropriate to the weather conditions, will this be considered more of a recovery effort?

It sounds that way but last night there was this:

Sheriff reducing patrols overnight in search for Amy Harding
UPDATE - 8:30pm: Sheriff Jesse Slaughter tells KFBB they have reduced patrols down to one person tonight, because if Amy is anywhere in the area, they believe she must be inside.

When I was growing up, one of my Dad's friends was a battered husband. His wife wouldn't have weighed a hundred pounds soaking wet, but she had him completely terrorized and he wound up in the hospital twice. Once she beat him up with a cast-iron frying pan.

911 was called at 8:19 pm, but police didn't arrive until ten minutes later.

What was she doing to him that warranted a 911 call?
