I'm willing to give the boyfriend the benefit of the doubt, except for one nagging question. Per the Zillow link, the river is maybe 30 strides from the house. If she walked "in the direction of the river", you could see her walk every step of the way from the house. You could easily see if she ended up in the river or not. Maybe he was shocked that she assaulted him and didn't feel like following her, who knows, but that detail is strange.

That's not the main river.

The river closesed to their house was frozen.

hitched out somewhere maybe?

It's not unheard of but it does happen in regards to leaving without personal items.

Katie Sepich got into a fight with her boyfriend and left a party she was attending without her purse, keys and cell phone back in 2003.

She was murdered by someone in the neighborhood.

I have known 3 OR nurses in my life, and 2 OR doctors. They are all very calm in emergencies, obviously. They could handle stress and sort things out.

Even if she got angry and scuffled with her boyfriend, I think she'd grab her coat and cell before she stormed out
.

...unless....she was running out the door....possibly afraid for her life?

Just a thought

Maybe she’s hiding out cuz she assaulted him and is now afraid she’ll get arrested so she’s staying gone. JMO
That’s one of my thoughts as well. He calls 911 so she runs out the door and hides to avoid the police...

The search began quickly - probably as soon as LE learned she wasn't dressed for the weather. They called in SAR and Malmstrom AFB to help in the search overnight. The next morning, they had K-9's, a helicopter, and a drone with FLIR capability as well as volunteer firefighters, more deputies, etc. MOO

My comment was in response to a poster saying they should have found her because she was gone only 10 minutes. I doubt all those resources were on scene in 10 minutes. IMO, I even doubt the responding officer looked for her. Has it been stated anywhere when a search began.

She was last seen at 2030. It would have been completely dark by then. I doubt, without much in the way of street and outdoor lighting, she could be seen approaching the river in my opinion.

Cascade County Sheriff/Coroner's Office

Sheriff suggests searchers bring life vests as they will be searching by the river. Also, when asked the sheriff said all missing persons cases are treated as criminal investigations. Also. refused to answer whether the home was searched.

No specific time was given for when the search began AFAIK, just that resources were quickly called in and they searched overnight. See press conference, page 1, I believe. MOO

Or any questions regarding her cell phone or boyfriend.

Community search for Amy Harding starts today
[...]

The search is expected to go well into the evening and will cover a large area of terrain.

Sheriff Slaughter has a few things he wants the community to consider first, before joining the search.

"Some of the things I am going to ask the community, please be in good physical health if you are going to help. I know that everyone wants to help and I understand that, but this is rugged terrain. Sometimes dealing with ice mud and difficult terrain. So we ask that you be in decent physical condition," said Jesse Slaughter, Cascade County Sheriff

Slaughter said he will be issuing a code red alert this morning to people in the area of the search since some locations involved are private property.

May have already been brought up but on her Facebook it indicates she’s “been in a relationship” since 2013.

That’s an awfully long time without “moving forward” unless you’re ok with not moving forward, IMHO.

Shows multiple family trips together. The most interesting thing to me judging from the outside looking in and from body language is that she appears to always be hugging on him or showing physical affection to him, but it doesn’t appear to be reciprocated in pictures at least.

all MOO.
