Unknown Circumstances- 26 Bones were recovered from the dirt floor of a dirt floor of the garage at 1216/1218 1st Ave. N. The bones are very small and some may not be human.

I can't find any news article from a reliable source stating that.

Dna is on file, but the fact that according to namus, the sex is unknown, leads me to believe the comparison was done using mitochondrial DNA.

I believe these remains would have to be re-examined and reprocessed for any sort of nuclear dna related comparisons.

@othram I know you guys are phenomenal with extracting dna profiles from small sample sizes, I think this would be right up your alley.

"During a search at one of Bar-Jonah's previous residences in Great Falls, authorities dug up portions of the garage and sifted through nearly two tons of dirt in which they found twenty-one fragments of human bones. Although it was eventually determined that the bones were those of an unidentified African-American child, a boy believed to be between the ages of 8 and 13, DNA analysis showed that the bones were not those of Ramsay and the DNA sample also did not match human hair found in Bar-Jonah's kitchen. When investigators decided that they wanted to examine the sewer pipes beneath the house in which Bar-Jonah had previously resided, they were told by the owner that the pipes had all been replaced after Bar-Jonah moved out because they were always getting clogged."

Nothing I can find states the victim's race outside of the Wikipedia paragraph which cites the book; A Parasite in the Mind

The book is one of several by Dr. John Epsy, who conducted many interviews with Bar-Jonah in prison and wrote extensively about him and his psychological profile.
