this guy is a "handyman" and claims he has been employed running an assisted living facility. Shudder. That is very concerning.

Handymen have access to lots of different properties at times, an opportunity to get familiar with "customer" properties and security, their family members, including children. Uggh

We gotta figure out who this guy really is so he can be gotten off the streets and away from the vulnerable and defenseless.

Has anyone begun sleuthing on his many aliases? I noted that two appear to be online identities: "Dennis593" and "ChicagoSean"

Seems with him using "Dennis" and Sean" that they are most likely his own name or family name so he doesn't forget a "fake" name.

Is there a way to cross reference DUI deaths for 1992 with the possible states that he claims he has lived in? I tried just now with Virginia and Crissy (Christy) but it kept taking me to the State of Virginia. Any ideas?

I am running into the same issue 4SAM. trying to figure out how to refine my search. I am thinking of starting around the Chicago area because that is where he claims to have been from. Trying to figure out if there are any site/resources where deaths by auto accident are compiled in one easy place.

I plan to hunt for both DUI deaths and non DUI deaths and even missing persons because I think his story sounds like it might be a bit self serving on that issue. May just be a construction to gain sympathy.

Going crosseyed...searching Find a Grave for every possible last name this guy has used in relation to Virginia, Crissy. Even changing her name to Christine or Christina. Sheesh. Drivers license keep copies right? Is there a main database for them to search per state that the FBI has access to? Maybe the bullet that he says is lodged in his head will shift and he will croak...lol

what easier explanation for tattoos than my dear departed wife and daughter dead from DUI driver.

Much easier than my wife who left me and the kid I am not allowed to see or some girls I used to know or whatever, because the tale gleans sympathy and makes the hearer feel a certain sort of wish to extend comfort or benefit of doubt to the teller KWIM?

In 1991 there was an accident where 2 mothers and their 14 year old daughters were killed. The guy was sentenced in 1992. I really thought I was on to something when the last name was Shaw! (SHAWn) And it was outside of Chicago! It was a dead end though, literally. The surviving spouse died a few years later. The other guy I was not able to find anything on. Did not use Victoria or Crissy because he is a careful man and I doubt he told the true story of those names.

The names are real as they are alleged in his photos and by the witnesses who knew this man on the FBI page I think, running back to check, knew I shouldn't have closed that window. . .

The unknown suspect has the words "Virginia" and "Crissy" or "Cristy" tattooed on his upper arm or biceps. He has a tattoo of a tiger on his chest, and the word "Dad" on his upper arm or biceps. The unknown suspect also has a facial bump above his left eye, in which he claims a BB pellet is stuck. Additionally, he has one finger that was broken and now does not lay flat.

Remarks: The unknown suspect has stated that the tattoos of "Virginia" and "Crissy" or "Cristy" refer to the name of his wife and 14-year-old daughter who were killed by a drunk driver in 1992

could all be a pack of lies about the wife daughter car DUI death thing or could be bits of truth to it.

eta: Totally agree, could be a made up story to explain names he really didn't wish to divulge the true significance of. But they are significant, because he found them significant enough to tattoo on his body. Plus the word dad would suggest at least that he is or was someone's father. A tribute to his own dad would likely include the father's name and not the word Dad IMO

I understand the names are real. What I am saying is that the story that went along with those names is wrong. Evn though the story may be true but with different people. Or the story may be completely fabricated. Could be the name of victims, old girlfriends, I just find it hard to believe he has built this lie and would carelessly give it away by providing traceable info. This is why FBI is still looking.

I am agreeing with you TooCurious. Even if it does not seem like it. I think there is a story behind the names and I do think one may belong to a daughter. But it is my suspicion (total hunch, nothing to back it up) that he had a wife and daughter and they are only dead insomuch as he was booted from their lives completely. I think the DUI lost wife daughter thing is strictly fabrication to gain sympathy. Because let's face it "I have a wife and daughter or had a wife and daughter but they won't see or talk to me" tends to make one wonder why and possibly cause a red flag to mothers with children, KWIM?

TOTAL SPECULATION on my part.

The thread on John Doe 27 has been closed but wanted to update you guys about this

In a news release this morning, the Federal Bureau of Investigations stated the agency has located a suspected child predator following a national push for information earlier this week.

“It is believed that tips generated from the November 12, 2013, publicity campaign by the FBI have led to the identification and location (in the Midwest region of the United States) of the man in the photographs known as John Doe 27,” FBI spokesperson Dave Joly said in a news release. “Currently, no arrest warrants have been issued or served.”

“We are unable to provide further comment as the investigation is ongoing, however the FBI would like to express its gratitude to the media and the public for their vigilance and assistance in this case,” he said.

So that leaves us with this dude, lovely unidentified suspect #12

Considering how bad the image of JD27 was, this gives me hope that old suspect 12 will NOT be in the wind long. We have really pretty darn good images of him and a lot of them.

I'm really confused. Do we still need to sleuth the creep in the photos posted in this thread or has he been caught?

John Doe 27 (the fella with the one distorted looking pic) from the other now closed thread is not only ID'd but apparently LOCATED.

This thread is for suspect 24 and he is still very much sought by FBI. His pics are the fella of whom there are many pics on this thread.

ETA Sorry for the confusion. We found out about THIS guy when following the thread and sleuthing the OTHER guy whose thread is now closed.

YES YES YES. SLEUTH!
