This is a prison intake profile (+photo) of the wife of a former pro football player. She hit a guy on an off ramp who was putting gas in his car late at night back in September and fled the scene. She waited 10 days and contacted a lawyer before she turned her self in.

She was sentenced to 3 years 5 months in prison, and as you can see, needs to spend at least 2 years 3 months in there before she can be released.

You've read correctly. A rich person is actually doing time for a crime.
