Multiple Personality Disorder Channelling Pasty Ramsey

  • #21
My sister-in-law says it too. One time she said to me, "Yeah, well when that baby wakes up..." And I totally teased her about it. It is now a running joke with us. When we end our phone calls, I always say, "Give THAT baby a big luvvins from his auntie." And he is no longer a baby. He turns 4 today! (Thanks for the reminder! I better give THAT child a call tomorrow--well later today ;^) )

I'm from a different part of the South (Florida), a part not always considered authentically Southern. But I too heard PR's "that child" as dialect, not distancing.

Consider this:

http://www.rockymountainnews.com/drmn/local/article/0,1299,DRMN_15_4926302,00.html

"Maybe I am not going back but have simply stayed consistent," Karr wrote. "My peer group has not changed since I was a little boy, and girls were the people I was with always. Referring to them as a peer group is somewhat incorrect, but might also be the very definition of what they continue to be in my life."

IMO Karr has serious identity issues. If he identified girls as his peer group, he could easily transfer identity to Patsy.

The only one with a personality disorder was PR herself.

Interesting, and I have read several comments here about his feminity. He has a different kind of sexual difference than an effeminate gay man I think, and don't think he is gay, but more along the lines of a man trying to morph into a woman.

I noticed his breasts, sickening as that thought is, and I maybe wrong of course, but think there is a shape forming under that shirt of more female breasts. I could have sworn he wears some undergarment and thought I saw a hint of this beneath his shirt. Taking female hormones could be why he has gone to Bangkok so often lately, for treatments where it is cheap and readily available.

You could be right on with your assesment. In his pedafilic mind he could be the consumate mother to these kids he has taken care of, and it is a euphoric feeling for him that shows itself below his belt.

But there is more to this guy if he is her killer. I heard some doctor TH say there is a segment of the pedophelia {sp} population that use physical violence. Gees, trying to think what she called this, and am thinking sexual sadist. When a person has these two tendencies, watch out.

This might be why the DA had to act in arresting him before they were ready to prosecute him, because knowing what he really is, posed an imminent threat to the children he would be teaching in his new job at the International school where he did teach his first day on Tuesday.

One thing is for sure, Karr has some real issues. The key question is: Is John Mark Karr to JonBenet as Brain David Mitchell was to Elizabeth Smart?

I learned long ago not to think that I could understand a fruitcake, because each fruitcake is unique.

Ok! I will just have to take your word for it that it is dialect and not distancing. It did go over me like ice water though when she said it. I can imagine how some of my Western words must sound. My son still calls me a valley girl. I'm really not that bad, I don't think.

Opium huh? I would agree, but I'm beginning to believe it goes deeper then that. This one seems to have some serious issues with reality. Will be interesting to see what develops.

Of course it was distancing Elberethe.
Just like trying to leave the state within half an hour of JBR's body being found was distancing.

Yes, I found the leaving the state so quickly to be much more disturbing.

Elberethe, your valley girl talk is probably endearing. More so than Patsy's accents.

Looking at the ransom note from a differnt perspective

OK I am thinking about the idea that Karr has multiple personality disorder...

Definitely he is a very strange individual, by most people's accounts of him.
I wonder ...if...IF he had written the ransom note....There are many references to "we" and "our" in the 1st part of the note, in the 2nd part of the note it is "I" mixed with "we", and it is the same in the 3rd part, also with reference to the "two gentlemen". Furthermore.....the note is addressed to "Mr. Ramsey", but later refers to "John", which could mean John Ramsey....could it also refer to John Mark Carr, as a warning to himself from one of his multiple personalities if such existed?

I know this is totally random...its just a thought I was having so I thought I would put the idea out there.

""Mr. Ramsey.
2. Listen carefully! We are a group of individuals that represent
3. a small foreign faction. We xx respect your bussiness
4. but not the country that it serves. At this time we have
5. your daughter in our posession. She is safe and unharmed and
6. if you want her to see 1997, you must follow our instructions to
7. the letter.

8. You will withdraw $118,000.00 from your account. $100,000 will be
9. in $100 bills and the remaining $18,000 in $20 bills. Make sure
10. that you bring an adequate size attache to the bank. When you get
11. home you will put the money in a brown paper bag. I will call you
12. between 8 and 10 am tomorrow to instruct you on delivery. The
13. delivery will be exhausting so I advise you to be rested. If we
14. monitor you getting the money early, we might call you early to
15. arrange an earlier delivery of the money and hence a earlier
16. delivery pickup of your daughter.

17. Any deviation of my instructions will result in the immediate
18. execution of your daughter. You will also be denied her remains
19. for proper burial. The two gentlemen watching over your daughter
20. do not particularly like you so I advise you not to provoke them.
21. Speaking to anyone about your situation, such as Police, F.B.I.,
22. etc., will result in your daughter being beheaded. If we catch you
23. talking to a stray dog, she dies. If you alert bank authorities, she
24. dies. If the money is in any way marked or tampered with, she dies.
25. You will be scanned for electronic devices and if any are found, she
26. dies. You can try to deceive us but be warned that we are familiar
27. with Law enforcement countermeasures and tactics. You stand a 99%
28. chance of killing your daughter if you try to out smart us. Follow
29. our instructions and you stand a 100% chance of getting her back.
30. You and your family are under constant scrutiny as well as the
31. authorities. Don't try to grow a brain John. You are not the only
32. fat cat around so don't think that killing will be difficult. Don't
33. underestimate us John. Use that good southern common sense of yours.
34. It is up to you now John!

35. Victory!
36. S.B.T.C."

Yes I agree. Saying I loved that child with my whole heart and sole is hardly what I would call distancing....I them it is more like being emphatic about who you are talking about.

I just don't see what others see when they look at Patsy and John Ramsey...I think that while some things they have said or done are odd I don't see glaring guilt or cold uncaring parents as many others do.
