Why didn't Murt secure permission before going to the TES site? That may have precluded the nasty comments on his personal web site and not interfered with the search/donations.

The trolls were in overdrive, yesterday on his site, during and after all of that went down. While the troll situation was disgusting, what really, really, really angered me was that some of the trolls were bringing up the death of his wife, in a mean way. I can imagine this poor man is still going through the early period of the grieving process, because she just passed in January. I guess he felt he had to answer the trolls, so he did... I know I suggested that he just not answer them.

I don't know who it was or what group it was harassing him, but it just goes to show you how cruel some people can be.

Awful!! I feel terrible he was subjected to that. Completely uncalled for....

I only object that Murt gets hyper-involved. He should have had Tim's permission, BUT that is not a reason for people on his page to bring up sore subjects. At all.

It's not about any one searcher (even Leonard). No one should encourage that....seems like Murt didn't and I'm sorry he got hurt!

It's just like Tricia posted...these are losers, evil people that would never use their REAL names to back up their filth. Murt has lost his Wife and Son in the last couple of years, too sad for words. Yet, here he is trying to help others...

We are all human, none of us perfect, Murt included...but we certainly can be kind and decent to each other regardless of our imperfections.

I am sitting here at work and I can see a Helicopter in the sky, not sure if it is from the news or for the search. Still either way it is sad to watch. My office is down towards the Airport and I live by Blancher park. I pray they find her today. This has been going on long enough.

Wow, I missed a lot yesterday. I was watching at work, although I do not have speakers on my computer so I couldn't hear a thing, only read.

I have been watching and following Murt's video's for a few weeks now. He seems like a really caring man. I don't understand all the stuff related to one site vs another (I don't even know what site they are referring to, and would rather not). But from what I read here this morning I am disgusted with what some must have been saying to him. Bringing up nasty comments about someone's loved one's deceased or not is completely uncalled for. That breaks my heart for him.

Mean people suck.
