I bet there is one neighbor that wasn't invited to the neighborhood party!

The 1st thing that came to mind when I read this was NC made Carolina BBQ ribs for Friday nite the 11th. How did she pay for this? By painting for JA! How ironic....BC went to a party for a 1st time in years it sounds like, for a good cooked meal that he wouldn't give NC $$ for.

Did this little tidbit set him off also? She isn't cooking for him like this, but can furnish the neighborhood party with BBQ ribs?:waitasec:

I just posted the pic of the medal that was on the half-marathon site since runr didn't know how to post it. I have not been back to the dump site since that one day we all went, and have not seen the one that was left there.

Do you have a feel for how much competing in one of these events might run ? including hotels and food - just an estimate ?

I have an acquaintance that runs in a lot of these types of races (and in fact went to the R&R one in Va Beach this past weekend). Average costs would be somewhere in the neighborhood of $500 - $600, depending on if one were sharing a hotel room or not, entry fees, food, etc, etc.

For some reason I don't see Brad giving her money to compete in this if he wouldn't give her money to feed the kids properly. Doesn't sound terribly expensive but I can't see him consenting.

I don't see it either, but who knows.... Their whole financial sitch is really puzzling, frankly, and what he would/would not allow her to do or purchase, and when.

I doubt for one minute Nancy's dad would let her or those little girls starve. I am quite convinced she was getting some money from him; and he would certainly feel that running in this event would boost her spirits. Maybe NC felt her parents had done enough to help her out and she wanted to at least make an effort to make some money herself. So therefore took the painting job. But there has to be some way she was still buying expensive dresses for the girls and signing up for runs, etc. This may be the point where some of her financial woes were exaggerated to her friends. Not the part about Brad and his stingy pitence of an allowance, but about not having enough to feed her children. With that wonderful family I saw speaking at the press conferences, I doubt that a single one of them would allow her to go without. JMO

I agree, which is also why I believe she was planning to leave. I can't see them considering she was in any kind of situation that was healthy for either her or the children.

That is much cheaper that I expected.

The difference I see here is it was Labor Day weekend at Virginia Beach. An expensive last weekend of summer at the beach. The hotels for next year are already booking up at $279 +tax for 1 night. Food, and some music has tickets at $25 each. Split the hotel 3 ways for say 2 nights, music, eating, wine, and entry fees...maybe $500? Wouldn't that be reasonable to assume?

That's a pretty accurate figure with which to budget for such a trip, yes.

Reddress, RKAB has been posting very interesting tidbits about her ex-"boyfriend", Brad Cooper. It's worth it to find all her posts and read them now. (I hope you are here, RKAB, because I need to PM you...).

I wish RKAB would get online so we could have an "Interview with RKAB about Brad Cooper as a Boyfriend". We need to learn more about how he treats women, from someone who should know.

RKAB is interested in keeping herself safe and as anonymous as she can. I'd love a question/answer session with her. Like: HOW did he act when he had simmered a while, then exploded? HOW was he controlling, if he was with you, RKAB? Tell us about his mom, dad, family.

I know his dad is vice pres of something at a Medicine Hat Community College. I saw a photo of Brad's dad there. Looks like Brad got his hairline from his dad.

I'm here. We were away this weekend (this is typically our last long weekend before we start to see (gasp) snow!) so we tried to make the best of it.

I'm just heading off to bed but I will try to check in tomorrow afternoon or tomorrow night. I don't mind answering some questions, some I probably won't. I have a feeling that Brad already figured it out but I would still like to keep some things to myself. I hope you all understand.

I am hoping that the Sw's are unsealed tomorrow as well (unless something has developed over the weekend to change that).

As to the "meddlesome" description used for JA, I think the poster was being a little tongue-in-cheek. JA must have known much more than we to have made that phone call to the Cary PD. She probably knew about the relationship between Brad and Nancy on a deeper level, probably knew how it was with B&N right up until the weekend that she was murdered. JA knew that something was wrong on many levels. But I suppose that's all re-hash.

NCNative, thanks, you know where I was headed with the meddlesome comment. From Day 1, I have always felt JA knows much more about tense situation between the Coopers, especially the last 24 hours NC was alive. The woman has undeniable fear in her voice on the 911 call.

No, I did not see Edwards this weekend. His house is across the cove from ours, I didn't see any lights on, nor did I see him running. When he's in residence, I usually see him on the beach mid morning or late afternoon running. I've only seen him there with Elizabeth and their kids, and some other folks.

Well, Chauncy! I wonder where that John Edwards is hiding out? You'd think that if he had to go and do what he did, he'd at least have chosen someone with class and character. If I were Eliz. Edwards, I'd make double dawg sure that no one got any of my money after I died except for my children. I wouldn't want that honky-tonky "other woman sleaze" getting into any of my money.

So the third undisclosed warrant will potentially be revealed today? Or will the undisclosed locale remain undisclosed?

Watched the link this morning on WRAL and media is of course already downtown at the possible unsealing of the sealed SW.

The articles states they have been sealed 60 days, which we know has been approx. 6 weeks.

Amanda Lamb knocks on BC door, he answers and refuses to speak. Grubby again, short sleeve t-shirt on...

My observation this morning....look at the black front door.

Dings and/or marks on it at shoulder heighth, right when BC turns away to say he won't speak. Could this be a sign of a struggle occured, and NC tried to get out? It also can be just the wear and tear of them coming in and out of the house. Just an observation of mine.
