Did he say this with a straight face?

It seemed to me that he wanted to say more, talking not about GSJ so much but that there was a lot of interest in this area by many people which may have been why the PI's went there.

D. Casey may not want to turn over all his phone records because to do so would violate other clients' right to privacy. This isn't the only case he's working on, he has other ongoing investigations as well.

LE has a right to know who might have been driecting him to a murdered child's remains. I think that trumps his poor clients right to privacy, besides it's only their phone numbers that would be exposed.

Riiiight, this is his only case and the pro bono services are going to pay office rent, utilities, phone bills, clerks, secretaries, health insurance, taxes and pay his personal bills. You know, this PI still has to pay bills and so far this adds up to about an hour or so in two days. Not exactly full time dedication to this case.

ok - chew on this:

Dr. G. made it a point at the ID presser that there "was no antemortem trauma to the bones". NOW - antemortem means BEFORE DEATH.

Now, Dr. G. said nothing about post mortem trauma to anything. No mention of THAT at all.

WHAT IF there was post mortem trauma to the bones? That means someone poking around - possibly digging.

The bag was wrapped around under a huge palmetto bush. Poor little Caylee's bones amounted to almost nothing - in terms of mass. So the bag appeared empty - or darn near. Just an "empty bag" wrapped around underneath a huge palmetto wouldn't warrant close inspection - plus LP said where the actual body was was still a big pool of water.

So, possibly DC DID POKE the bag and caused post mortem trauma and LE has sat on this and watched and waited and listened and.........................................

Thoughts?

For some reason, I was under the impression that DC was a personal friend of the A's prior to this.

So the records have been turned over to LE, thanks, Chilly, as I said a bunch of hooey over nothing. Whether we like it or not, LE has no "right" to know anything at all about whom the PI may or may not have been conversing with, that's why we have subpeonas and warrants, because they don't have the right to seize anyone's records without one. No, I don't think that LE's curiosity as to whom LE was talking to trumps anyone's rights, especially those people who are not involved in this case in any way.

I think there is some confusion as to whether LE has the cell phones and/or the records. LP said LE has the phones but tonight Natisha said LE doesn't have the records - so we really have no confirmation of whether LE has the phones and/or records yet.

Post mortem injury to the bones would have more likely been caused by animals and water damage than someone poking a bag. Besides which, the bag was under water during the month of November and there is no tape of any PI wading through water.

Well he really put himself out there on a limb digging through snake infested woods poking and ripping for the remains of a dead Caylee that his employers had him insisting to us did not exist at the time. He sure puts a lot of heart into his pro bono work, even when he's not following the instructions of the people he's serving.

I'm interested in finding out whether LE has searched the house the PI was at and whether any other evidence will be found there...clothing, etc.

I think there was likely some postmortem trauma to the bones and that the trauma was caused by animals disturbing the remains.

Hi SWAG, Like LeLe just pointed out on the other hot thread on the case, this Mr Casey could have done damage to evidence like bones with the way he was using that shovel. And even if that rod is a forensic tool, did he use it properly?

I heard one guest mention this PI contaminated the dump crime scene. Do we know if this was the exact area where Caylee's remains were found? I thought I heard he was videotaping 100 - 150 feet up the road on the same side?

It might turn out to be a puddle of nothing, except for the fact he was in the employ of the A's while filming. And the A's were still proclaiming to the public they were looking for a live Caylee in LAngeles.

Someone else said the way he was tearing thru the woods he was looking for something in particular, like a man on a real mission.

I don't know him, so I don't make any assumptions about how successful he is or how many clients he has, or how much of his time was devoted to this case.

So what if the Anthonys directed PI Casey or anyone for that matter to look in this area? Obviously there is no proof on the tape that he found anything, which might have been quite a relief to the Anthonys.

My guess, a plea was in the works conditioned on KC producing a body, so someone was trying to see if she could.

And said the same thing in my second post on a different thread

I don't think the PI's or the A's showed any respect for anyone's rights when they posted pictures of unidentified children on national tv without once having the nuggets to photograph or question the adults these kids were being supervised by. I think it's kind of ironic to see the same coming back on them.

I also have no idea how long all the total tape footage is, compared to how long Hoover and Casey were at the various locations, or what they chose to tape, or whether every visit to the sites were taped.

But, yesterday a reporter was adamant her sources from the PD said NO further arrests forthcoming in this case!

All evidence points to premeditation by Casey with no help after the fact, no OJ charges pending for anyone!

We've been hearing that from the beginning which very well may be true. On the other hand, I really don't think LE is in the habit of warning people before they arrest them. JMO/

That we, the public have seen, or that the PI's taping have shown.

Animals will cause "chew" marks or scratches. WHAT IF there were somewhat nice, neat holes - as would be made by a slim probe being stabbed into it? Or sharp, neat breaks?

I think there was likely some postmortem trauma to the bones and that the trauma was caused by animals disturbing the remains.

See above about the damage animals would inflict as compared to what a "sharp stick in the eye" would do - holes or straight line breaks

Exactly, if the bag was wrapped around the base of a palmetto bush - first, its very hard to get underneath a big, wild palmetto bush and if the bag "appeared empty" and was in somewhat of a "big puddle" DC would have just reached out with the probe and poked at it. Now I don't know if any of you have ever had to "fish" a plastic garbage bag outta water - especially one that is empty or darn near empty - its kinda like fishing out a huge hunk of seaweed. DC could have pulled the probe back and the bag or part of it "wrapped around the probe" and he would have had to "shake it off - or just jab it again back into the water" and that could have caused a bigger bone to have a sharp, fresh, break - not chew marks or scratches like animals would cause.
