these poor squirrels.......they will never be the same....what has gotten into them...to be so upset they want to end their lives and end up on NG??

I remember hearing that some where ....maybe TV....or on another site...but it was a dog that one of the search teams was using....and I do not believe they were with TES either...and my not have been one that has been trained like the LE dogs are....

something like that awhile ago.....does that make since...Im getting really sleepy...

You're right. The link to the news article is no longer valid, but (hopefully) here's where it was discussed:

You'll notice, if you read back a bit on that thread, that a whole lot of posters insisted in no uncertain terms that these dogs could not be wrong either.

yes....this is it....I remember now that NG had that lady on her show...and shortly afterwards is when this came out about the hit from her dog....this is when I was new to w/s and found out about the other place we are not to mention here.....:)

You know that the prosecution will want Tony on the stand at trial, won't they? And why does the defense get to interview them when the State has already done that.
I don't understand this really. This isn't done here in NC.

One of the attornies said that FL is only one of about two states that do this. I had never heard of this before and I have no idea what purpose it serves.
Hate to say this, but it looks like we will be seeing less and less coverage of this case until the trial. Ten minutes every night. I wish she would cover this case first, then I could turn her off.

I remember reading that her dogs were not properly trained as cadaver dogs and were not certified, either.

Here's hoping that new documents are released shortly!

Here's hoping that new documents are released shortly!

:clap::clap::clap::clap::clap::clap: I hope it's sooner than the 15days the judge ordered...I hope those r released when LE gives them to JB & r made public record like the past docs!
I know they would help me put some pieces of the puzzle together! They would give us all some more answers to the ?'s we have in sooo many of r threads!!
I've been reviewing (very helpful by the way!) early ones so that it's fresh in my mind if & when more r released.:read::pcguru:

What new docs? TIA!
I don't know of any but one can hope! I would imagine that Baez has been making requests for additional information now that KC has been charged with murder. Wouldn't some of that information be made available to the public under the Sunshine Law?

Oh - okay. I thought maybe you had heard of another release. Thanks. :)

Does anyone know if Baez's depositions will be made public?

I'm not certain. I know the public wasn't allowed into the depositions, but I don't know if that means the information won't be released.

Now why would anyone want to talk about little old me?

Let me see if I can find the thread about the dog hitting on animal remains. I remember a bunch of us were here waiting on pins and needles for LE to say what the dogs had found.

Chilly, it was NOT LE dogs that hit on animal bones.

I don't know if criminal cases are the same as civil cases when it comes to depositions. I live in Louisiana and work for a civil defense attorney. They do depositions before trial. The plaintiff atty is allowed to be there and can object "for the record" if a question is misleading or something. I didn't know this was not common practice amongst all states.

It was the Gail or Gayle person who claimed to also be a Psychic and had what she said was cadaver dogs. Remember the controversy about her running up the big motel bill?

Her dog was not a dog trained or one that had ever been used by LE. I did not find her to be credible.

I didn't either, and if memory serves me right, neither did NG.:)

Do you think it may be possible that the judge will not allow him as a an expert witness when the time comes due to his appearances on NG?

Oh I hope not. A defense attorney would have to be stoned to put him on the stand at this point. He is the easiest expert in the world for the prosecution to discredit and raise doubts about. "So Kobe, these are your absolute views on the facts of this case? yes sir! ROLL TAPE!". He has been on TV stating the exact oposite opinions about much of the evidence... until the defense started paying him. There is a visual record of his change of opinion coinciding with his becoming a paid expert for the defense. Even the television shows host has repeatedly noticed and commented about it. Witnesses public statements can be questioned, and NG is certainly a forum of public statements.

Hi, eg@gm! I am from Louisiana as well. I do not know of depositions done by the Defense in a criminal matter before trial here in this state. Here, the Prosecution turns over discovery, then a witness list before trial. The Defense gets to question the witnesses at trial. I have just never heard of an official deposition done of witnesses that are for the Prosecution by the Defense lawyers.

I learn something new everyday! I wonder how many states have this procedure?

I saw Kobi on another show last night on ID. He was talking about how far science has come and how accurate the test are with a "VERY" small amount or with a partial profile of DNA. It made me go Hmmmm..... Wonder what has happened to the science since then?????

It must be frustrating to ask someone a question and have them answer something completely different!

If she wants to control exactly what people say, she ought to have puppets instead of guests. I have mixed feelings about the viewpoints of NG and Susan whatshername since I do NOT believe in bashing victims, but victims whose lifestyles subject not only themselves but their families and innocent children to harm, cause everyone around them to be ultimate victims. IF Jason Hudson eg was a gang member of Disciples then his lifestyle jeopardized not only his own but his mother's and nephew's lives. Regardless, NG doesn't need to be so rude. Sorry this is a little OT.
