She sat there today, blank stare, a chin quiver when the word "remains" was mentioned, a hard swallow when "duct tape" was mentioned, and then a smile and nod at the end. I would have been a total wreck...

I wish I had seen that chin quiver. A glimpse of emotion.

That's right, no one knows at this point how long the remains of Caylee will be at the funeral home. Although they have been there for about 3 weeks already and the end of the month is yet another 3 weeks away. It IS fact however, that the remains CAN be left there indefinitely, at the discretion of the defense.
:furious::furious::furious:

Regarding the photos, even if the real ones are secured, I just wonder how long it will be before we see fake photos of the remains popping up in the trash rags. Another :furious::furious::furious:

Or because it's less expensive than a burial plot. What isn't making sense to me is the ME didn't really give the defense anything to challenge with her report so I'm not seeing what the problem is. Are they looking for trauma to the bones??? MOO
I think they are just stalling and blowing smoke up everyone's a$$'s.

i "knows" it. Lp keeps sticking by his stories of innocence...odd for him, considering the world he operates in bh land, right? Kc needs a manicure, a clean up then will confess, etc.

He is wrong in his theories, but never his info....get me / it ?

absolutely.

Unless the funeral director is feeling generous and is not charging JB, then they can remain there as long as JB is paying and/or the director agrees to a final date. After that, they become abandoned "property" and they go back to the state for burial or cremation.

I don't like to even type this, but it unfortunately is reality of the system.

Personally, and I have said this earlier, I don't think JB will let her remains be there any longer than necessary, the end of this month at the latest once DrL is in town and can physically examine them.

JB will want a photo op presser of how KC is broken over the fact her daughter has passed and will make sure Caylee has a proper service. He will also make sure that the jury sees it and sees KC as the caring mother who had to watch her daughters service from the confines of the county jail.

The A's won't be acknowledged as having any part other than they are the grandparents. KC will take the credit, per JB.

I don't think Jose knows his way around the courtroom very well.

He seems like he doesn't even know the .."Basics"

That;s an understatement! He kept saying the trial was in March, and the SA said there is no trial date set. Then he says well, then it was a prliminary hearing in marchm or something. I think he has little to no clue how real world murder cases of this magnitude work.

Trama to the bones would be easily visible upon examination of the remains or the xray reports. IMO they are stalling for the tox reports to come back...there are reports about hair and possible tissue being attatched to the now confirmed duct tape that was collected with the remains.

I have a question about the body language.

I'm not implying that Casey has been falsely accused of premeditated murder when I ask this:

What would be the body language of a person in a murder case in which they are falsely accused?

  • #330
That is true, I also have a gazillion photos of my children, and not that many of me in them.
But Casey was in a unique position of living with her parents - who I guess took many of the photos. with hubby at work all day there is no one to take photos
Just me !
We've heard that the tart mom fancied herself as something of a photographer. Who would be a better subject than her daughter, especially when you consider all the idle time they spent together. No need to wait for mom and dad.

now why would he do that - it would ruin his practice, his job - he's not laying any foundation - he's just over his head with this case thats all

Does anyone remember your first job - you got everything and more that you needed - say as a secretary or something like that - you thought it made you look important and you were doing something

Thats what JB reminds me of - it looks like he wants everything, he doesn't know what he really needs, he's not a murder trial lawyer - but if he has everything then it looks like he is, right?

Just my opinion

Yeah, that was my point. He's been dumb all along.

Can they test the hair samples for Chloroform???? (Fingers Crossed) I hope, I hope, I hope!!!

Shackled Casey...even you have to go to the hearing.

I believe that is what they really want. I would almost bet good money that there was "absolutely" nothing done as far as an autopsy by Dr. Lee on the bones.

First of all Lee is really not qualified, that takes a forensic anthropologist. Baez said it was not done; Lee said it was done weeks ago - SO......I don't think it was done (they can't get their stories straight) and it is not going to be done.

They are stalling for the other reports.

I think she looks S*%&#y! (Sorry mods, only word that fits here!) Her hair is getting long, she looks yellow, and old. Poor girl.

Did you check out the botched eyebrow job? Looks like she has half a brow on the camera side.

don't want to be the lee finger, but a nice idea for shorthand reference. Source is jailhouse vids, the metaphor of the hand. Ty, ga!

Great!!! The Lee finger!!! Love it!!!

You betcha, both stories are in line. Lifetime runs all three genres: victim, perp, family who did not know but strong....stories.

Example of a crossover, is the Rage of Betty Broderick (sp) that the channel did in two parts. A really great acting job by Bridgette Birney Baxter (sp). Classic.

I think that was Meredith Baxter Birney (also the mom on Family Ties) and ITA, she was awesome. Maybe the right age for Cindy?

Forever now I will refer to it as my Lee finger..

Rumors about a Lifetime deal have only come from one less than credible source. Lifetime denies any deal. Who are you going to believe?

Then again... ABC originally denied paying anything for photos & videos of Caylee when they aired the 20/20 special months ago and yesterday we find out they paid (allegedly... but puhleeze!) $200k for photos/videos...

It's all about trying to save face - especially with a case like this that has emotions running very high, but you can always follow the money. Time will tell.

It lasted a second. Then she took a deep breath, sat up, and stared into space again.
