Nancy Grace - 11/18/08 - Tuesday

Someone please remind me, when is this trial?

"Going back for years, KC is a very effective liar, I would use the word, diabolical."

Who said this? I can hear, but not see.
Jesse Grund I believe

Good point...maybe they are hoping for a gag order...soon.

It is easier to say you have hard evidence than to produce it.

Exactly! That have not been able to produce anything to back up any claims in all these months. Silly me, maybe they are just *saving it up* for the presser. :furious: I am SO SICK of their chit.

Oh good... that's been my theory...

she left Caylee in the trunk uncovered & rigor mortis set in & it was now too difficult/horrible to hide her stiff body (in order to remove her from the trunk) so she was forced to wait a few days.

As rigor mortis subsides she finally can remove the body but she purposely or accidentally kept the clothes or maybe a blanket or toy & THAT was the source of the continuing stench. By the time Casey opened the trunk & noticed it was getting worse, it permeated the car for good AND she now had to ditch whatever it was that was saturated with the decomposition.

Today, I think she might have kept Caylee's clothes.... that they 'haven't even found.'

I wonder HOW thoroughly mom & dad checked/cleaned the car & whether they destroyed any other evidence (besides the pants & knife) that might have had blood or other fluids.

the A family covered up allot before LE was involved.....IMO

If the gag order were put in place before this "presser" (that IMO will never happen anyway) would it not prevent the A's from revealing this "hard evidence" in the form of a presser?

Yes.

The defense might be hoping for a gag order the whole time the "hard evidence" carrot is being dangled.

IMO too -- but what does that mean??? She took the clothes off Caylee....she took the clothes off Cayee, redressed her? the statement sounds like "the clothes" ...so Caylee was just wrapped in something?

Crazy, but that was what I thought. What else could it mean?:waitasec:

My bold: maybe Caylee with just a diaper on got into the pool and her comment was a trying to be smart comment.

sorry just getting here but....the comment that KC made about Caylee clothes....could it be because the clothes were fire retardent?

I've always wondered @ the gas can KC & AH went to buy when TL was out of town. No video release of them going to Target r mentioned further in AH docs??
Why did KC call her to borrow one in the early AM of that day she was driving TL jeepS so where is that gas can fromthat day? She left AH's went to where she put Caylee & :furious::furious::furious:!! It's possible the clothes didn't burn so she discarded them elsewhere.:waitasec:

What r the pings from that evening @ AH went to work??

Hi there, maur33. I see you! :) I think most here believe that Caylee's body was disposed of within the three day period because of the Body Farm results which showed decomposition equal to 2.6 days. Maybe there were enough fluids left behind to cause the odor that still remains.

Hi back at ya. I am hoping that when the scientific people testify they will be able to explain all this to the rest of us. Maybe the air sample show decomposition at a different rate than physical evidence. I suppose the air molecules can be scientifically different than something that the smell is emanating from.

could the car now still have decomp in it....a caller asked and that is why its still stinking?....how does this all fit into the 2.6 days of decomp? If Dr. Perper is saying she could have been in the car for 2 weeks? is the decomp M differnt then the gases in the air to determined the 2.6 days?

This is what's so upsetting about the expert witnesses. They seem to interpret the same facts and come to different conclusions. A jury can become so confused by this that it could dilute the forensic evidence, couldn't it?

I agree with Mark Klaas' very logical statement tonight on NG, "If they have a verifiable lead, what are they waiting for"?

And that is a great question!

I think what will be most important to the jury is that there WAS human decomposition in the trunk.

Knowing how long it was there would have been nice for LE &/or searchers to know so they had an idea where to even look for Caylee's body.

WHO said it was a butter knife? Cindy???? Then we know it's not true.

LOL!!!

Even a plastic knife from McDonalds can be pretty sharp & do a lot of damage... if someone wants to.

I agree with you. Only I think Caylee may have been put in the sandbox with the lid on or under the playhouse for a couple of days.
I believe she was initially in the back yard too. The cadaver dogs said so! MOO

[Dr. Lee says it is going too far to look at the air samples and say "that is human decomposition"[/quote]

I guess if Casey can see an invisible nanny, Lee can see air. lol
