Nancy Grace - 11/7/08 Friday

Thanks for the link. I reread and it is hard to say for sure what GA may have said to Simon exactly. He uses both haven't seen and missing. He does say that GA says that his daughter has been lying.

I don't know if this is where I got what I said or not. I would not have interpreted what Simon said that way.

I know that I read somewhere that GA said that they had found KC but that Caylee was missing but maybe it was just something that someone of the board said.

Oh well, even perfect people are wrong sometimes.....j/k.

does anyone else remember it the way that I do that GA said they had found KC but that either Caylee was missing or that hadn't see her?
I remember, "we just found our daughter today...".

I know because they supposedly didn't even know about Caylee yet. He must have had a clue to be thinking in that direction.

I caught that too. I wonder how much they'd tried to locate Casey before picking up the car or did most of that come afterward?

:waitasec: couldn't it simply be that he & Cindy had been trying to see Casey & Caylee for however long and so, when he smells that smell, he's immediately fearing the worst. we have the phone records that demonstrate that Casey had been calling/receiving calls from her parents, so I think it is logical to immediately assume she's ok based upon that & to worry about the smallest, most vulnerable one, with whom they may not have had any contact: Caylee.

I remember early in the case Cindy saying Casey always eventually tells the truth. Cindy may actually believe she gets the truth out of her, but really all she has gotten was the lie she finally accepted.

Chilly, with all due respect, read what the narrative says "His daughter had been missing for a while and now will not allow him to see his granddaghter." Doesn't that indicate to you that she is no longer missing? It is clear as day to me.

Okay that is exactly where I got it from. Thank you.:)

I remember, "we just found our daughter today...".

I recall wording to that effect as well but there are so many docs out there.

SNIPPED: "... They looked under the playhouse too. Who does that? Something happened to make them think that Casey did harm to Caylee

I'd bet Park Place (or Boardwalk) that Casey left making terrible threats...and wound up carrying through. :(

Thank you for saying that - - I still can't read the documents, print too small but I remember something about that also, was it in the documents?

I can't read the documents on myfoxorlando either. I can't increase the frame size on my Mac. I think you were referring to the George Anthony interview-- if so, try here and you can use the magnifying glass feature to enlarge the print. Hope it helps! :)

Didn't he also tell the wrecker guy that is grandaughter is missing but they found his daughter? This part utterly confuses me.

And here I've been wondering whether "finding" Casey simply meant they had finally spoken to her & knew theat she was okay, but that they kept getting the brush off when they'd ask her about Caylee, that Casey was saying she "was okay," "was with the babysitter," etc., just like we know Casey was telling her parents before/during/after the 911 calls on July 15... so to him, and with his not knowing where Caylee was or having spoken to her in such-and-such a time frame, Caylee is still missing.
thoughts?

I think from what news stories had said JB was found either by his card being on the bulletin board at the jail or KC asked who a good lawyer was when she was being processed (where you sit with other people being processed) and someone gave his name. But she did get it from the jail not the Anthony's getting him.

I read that but also wasn't there some comments that KC knows JB's daughter or vice-versa?

MY favorite theory is JB is an ambulance chaser and goes to the jail processing to hook up with new booked in clients (victims) to represent them. JMO.

Question...with the talk about Casey sneaking back to the house when her parents weren't there...wouldn't Cindy have seen or felt something was out of place? That house was pretty immaculate. If Casey had come back with Caylee on the 16th, wouldn't the house be disturbed somewhat?

I dont know, as a mom, I have occassionally found it necessary to step in between dad and kid before it gets really ugly but $4000 is $4000 and Cindy is as nutty as KC.

I bet when KC was little, every time she did something wrong and GA tried to punish her for it, CA stepped in and stopped him and let whatever she did slide or she would go behind his back and let her off whatever punishment he doled out.

No wonder KC is the way that she is.
Ok, so this is all CA's fault?...
People have been raised by all kinds of people, many on this site, and they don't go killing their own children and then walk away and go party. Even when CA pulls her out of TL's house, and brings her home, calls 911? CA has tried.
Casey is responsible for Casey's actions. She is an adult, and as GA says, "She's an adult, I have no control over her." This is an accurate statement. They were stuck between a rock and a hard place. Confront, and she leaves with Caylee, which is what she finally did. Why? Because CA couldn't let the stealing from her own parents go? Confronting KC always brought more trouble. She was uncontrollable. I wish everyone would stop blaming everyone else, including her parents for her behavior.

Yes, that was exactly what I thought was implied...but even though the parents may have spoken to Casey, I don't think they knew exactly where she was staying...they actually thought she was in Jacksonville on or around July 15th (if you can believe anything!).

In George's interview he seemed to have the impression that LE had given KC JB's name as a good attorney. The detective let him know that they wouldn't reccomend any attorney. And this makes me wonder. If KC is telling parents that LE gave her the name, and they didn't then just exactly how did she get the name? Is it possible that she had already checked him out? Like before her arrest?

I think it does. Casey had been texting Cindy. Although Casey didn't let Cindy find her, Casey wasn't a missing person. She had been in touch with her mother.

Since Casey wouldn't let Cindy talk to Caylee on the phone, Cindy had to have been worried about Caylee. Cindy had taken care of Caylee since she was born. But, Cindy had NO legal rights...she couldn't stop Casey from taking Caylee or force Casey to bring Caylee back. I bet Cindy tried.

this is what i was typing re: another post before I reached yours - well stated! :)

I think what you're seeing is an elaboration of points made...especially on the info that's come out of the GA interview (played throughout the show).

Yes, as I recall, CB and KC were both in Colonial HS at the same time.

I agree, I think they knew with the incident with the pool ladder as well as the food that KC took that she had been stopping by while they were at work.
